'Billa' to release on April 3

The long wait for Telugu ‘Billa’ is coming to an end. The Prabhas film, directed by Mehar Ramesh will hit the theatres on April 3, sources say.

The film is a remake of the Ajith starrer with the same title. The Tamil film, directed by Vishnuvardhan, was one of the most stylish films Kollywood had seen. Mehar Ramesh has tried his best to make a film as technically perfect and stylish as Vishnuvardhan’s, if not more, sources say.

Anushka will reprise the famous bikini-act done by Nayantara in Tamil ‘Billa’ and Namitha plays the other female lead. Mani Sharma scores the music for the film.

Nayanatara with MS Raju and Kodi Ramakrishna

Hot and sexy babe Nayanatara is all set to do an heroine oriented movie in telugu for the first time in her entire filmy career. She is going to be the heroine of Kodi Ramakrishna directed special effects extravaganza. This movie is going to be produced by MS Raju.

After the super success of Arundathi with Anushka as heroine, most of the film makers are getting ready to make heroine oriented films. MS Raju who has not had success with his last three movies is first in the race of making Arundathi kind of movie. He has joined hands with director Kodi Ramakrishna and roped in Nayanatara to make a heroine oriented movie which will have state of the art special effects.

MS Raju and Kodi Ramakrishna made a special effects movie titled Devi 10 years back which was a blockbuster hit and they are joining hands once more to repeat the magic.

Ravi Teja as Anjaneyulu

Ravi Teja, Pawan Kalyan, producer Ganesh at 'Anjaneyulu' launch

Ravi Teja’s new film, Anjneyulu, was launched on Sunday morning at Ramanaidu Studios. Pawan Kalyan and his wife Renu graced the muhurtham ceremony. Produced by actor Ganesh Babu, the film is directed by Parushram of Yuvatha fame. As Ganesh is going to produce another film with Pawan Kalyan in the direction of Puri Jagannadh, power star has agreed to attend the event.

The film has Nayanatara as heroine while Taman is scoring the music. Says Ravi Teja: “I liked the script told by Parusharam and impressed with this narration. I have also seen his first film Yuvatha and liked its entertainment. In Anjaneyulu, you will get to see full entertainment. It is going to be complete family entertainer.”

Director said he would try to make the film as one of best movies in Ravi Teja’s career.

Procuer Ganesh thanked Pawan and Ravi Teja by agreeing to be part of his first productions. He also informed that the regular shoot would commence from April 20th.
