Allari Naresh, Kamna Jetmalani starrer ‘Katti Kantharao’ is hitting the screens this Friday. Directed by E.V.V.Satyanarayana the film is related to comic genre. The three have earlier scored a hit with ‘Bendapparao RMP’. Did the trio again succeeded in making the audiences reach theaters? Here’s Katti Kantarao’s movie review to find the answer for above question.

Story:

Katti Kanta Rao (Allari Naresh) is a police constable, who has two elder and two younger sisters. His elder sisters’ husbands become nuisance to him by asking gifts all the time. On the other hand Kanta Rao’s father forces him to make his other sisters get married. He makes a deal with Kantha Rao that he gets married only after his sisters get married. But Kantha Rao has a girl friend (Kamna Jetmalani). What idea does Kanth Rao implement to solve his problem? How does this affect his family and his girl friend’s family is the rest of the story

Highlights

Allari Naresh is at his best as usual. He gave his best shot and did justice to the role. Kamna Jetmalani’s performance is alright but E.V.V could have worked more on her role. Other artists Venu Madhav, Krishna Bhagawan, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Raghu Babu, Ali, Kondavalasa, Ahuti Prasad etc have justified to their roles with good comic timings. However, these humorous scenes could not contribute to the story line.

The story gets week in the second half with dragged screenplay and as a result climax ends on a dull note. Mallikarjun’s music has not added any benefit to the film.

Final Verdict

All in all, ‘Katti Kantharao’ is a reasonable time pass film with some hilarious sequences. It’s a onetime watchable film.

Rajamouli, Prabhas combo titled ‘Brahmarshi Vishwamitra’?

Successful director Rajamouli and Rebel Star Prabhas has earlier come up with a sensational blockbuster ‘Chatrapathi’. Earlier there was news that Rajamouli is in plans to make a new film with Prabhas again. However, Rajamouli and Prabhas are currently busy in their own projects. While Prabahs is busy with his Mr.Perfect opposite Kajal and Tapsee in the lead roles, Rajamouli is busy with the recently launched ‘Eega’ that is likely to start its shoot in January.
