Nayan & Venky’s third female titled film

Nayantara seems to be following ‘Make hay when the sun shines’ and so grabbing every project that comes her way. Recently, she was roped in for Sita role in ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ opposite Bala Krishna. Now the lady has bagged the role opposite Venkatesh in the film, ‘Savitri’. This is the third female titled film in their combination. Earlier the duo was seen in films ‘Lakshmi’ and ‘Tulasi’.


Though Trisha was considered for the role initially, finally Nayan seems to have grabbed the project. Savitri will be directed by Teja and produced by Suresh Productions banner. The movie will hit the floors from January 2011.

Vastaadu Naa Raju’ logo launched, Music on 10th Dec

Manchu Vishnu’s new film, ‘‘Vastaadu Naa Raju’ logo was launched at Prasadz, Hyderabad. Vishnu has unveiled the movie’s poster from the top of Prasadz with the help of ropes in an innovative style. Vishnu Manchu, Hemanth, Tapsee Pannu and Ashok Kumar Raju participated in the press meet.


Mani Sharma scored the music for the film which will be launched on 10th December in Vijayawada. Tapsee is playing the leading lady in the film. Being directed by Hemanth Madhukar, and presented by Mohan Babu on 24 Frames banner, most part of the film was shot in foreign locales like Italy, Vienna and Austria.

The film makers are planning to release the movie in January.
