భీష్మ' లో ఆ హీరోయిన్స్

బాలకృష్ణ, రమేష్ వర్మ కాంబినేషన్లో బెల్లంకొండ సురేష్ నిర్మిస్తున్న భీష్మ చిత్రంలో ముగ్గురు హీరోయిన్స్ చేస్తున్నారు. అందుకోసం నయనతార, భూమిక ఇప్పటికే ఎగ్రిమెంట్ చేసారని తెలుస్తోంది. ఇక మరో యంగ్ హీరోయిన్ కోసం వేట సాగుతోంది. మొదట కొత్త బంగారులోకం భామ శ్వేతాబసు అనుకున్నారు గానీ బాలయ్య ప్రక్కన మరీ చిన్నపిల్లలా ఉంటుందని ఆగారని సమాచారం. ఇక ఈ చిత్రం జూలై 31న హైదరాబాద్ లో గ్రాండ్ గా ప్రారంభం కానుంది. యాక్షన్ ఎంటర్టైనర్ గా ఈ చిత్రాన్ని రమేష్ వర్మ తీర్చిదిద్దనున్నట్లు సమాచారం.రమేష్ వర్మ,బెల్లంకొండ కాంబినేషన్లో రీసెంట్ గా రైడ్ అనే హిట్ వచ్చిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

ఇంతకు ముందు రమేష్ వర్మ..తరుణ్, సలోని జంటగా ఒక ఊరిలో అనే చిత్రాన్ని రూపొందించాడు. అలాగే మల్లెపూవు చిత్రానికి కథ అందించాడు. వీటితో పాటు రమేష్ వర్మ పోస్టర్స్ డిజైనర్ గా మంచి పేరు తెచ్చుకున్న వ్యక్తి. ఇక నయనతార ఎన్టీఆర్ తో అదుర్స్ లో చేస్తోంది. వి.వి.వినాయిక్ డైరక్షన్ లో రెడీ అవుతున్న ఈ చిత్రంలో ఎన్టీఆర్ ద్విపాత్రాభినయం చేస్తున్నాడు. అలాగే రవితజ సరసన కూడా ఆమె ఆంజనేయులు చిత్రంలో చేస్తోంది. ఆ చిత్రాన్ని యువత దర్శకుడు పరుశరామ్ తీర్చిదిద్దుతున్నాడు. ఇక భూమిక లేటెస్ట్ గా మళయాళంలో బ్రమరం అనే చిత్రంలో మోహన్ లాల్ సరసన చేస్తోంది. అలాగే రాజశేఖర్ తో నా స్టైలే వేరు చిత్రంలో చేసింది. వీటితో పాటు నవదీప్ సరసన చేస్తున్న యోగం షూటింగ్ పూర్తయింది.

J.D. Chakravarthy to direct Naga Chaitanya

J.D. Chakravarthy debuted as a villain in 1989 with Nagarjuna’s blockbuster Shiva, later made a name as a hero with Gulabi (1996) and then turned director with Durga: It’s Not Just a Love Story (2002). He is currently busy acting as villain in Nagarjuna’s son Naga Chaitanya’s debut film Josh. It is now heard that JD is likely to direct Naga Chaitanya’s second film, which will be a remake of Shiva. More details are awaited.

After Josh, JD will begin shooting his next directorial venture under the banner of RR Movie Makers, who recently made the blockbuster Kick with Ravi Teja and Ileana. JD recently narrated another story to Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt, who was impressed by the script and gave dates for the film. This movie will start in 2010.

Meanwhile, Josh, directed by debutant Vasu Varma and produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, has been slated for release on August 12. The film recently had its audio launch. Yesteryear heroine Radha’s daughter Karthika is the heroine.(galatta)

Magadheera in 1500 theatres

For the first time in the history of Indian cinema, producer-distributer Allu Arvind’s Ram Charan Teja starrer Magadheera, directed by S.S. Rajamouli with Kajal Aggarwal as heroine, will be released in 1500 theatres simultaneously in about 14 countries on July 29.

Director Rajamouli, who expressed high confidence on the success of the film, said at Prasad Labs that the film had the best in terms of cinematography, choreography, costumes and above all, the story impact.

“The film is going to carve a niche for Tollywood with global technical standards,” he said. Meanwhile, trade reports indicate that the audio sales of the film was not that encouraging in the market. The film had its music launch at Shilpa Kala Vedika on June 28.

Produced under the banner of Geeta Arts with a whopping budget of Rs. 35 crores, Magadheera is said to be an action-based romantic thriller to attract audiences of all classes. It is set in the backdrop of the divine mysteries of death and rebirth.

Nayantara accepting Tollywood offers

Nayantara is working really hard these days. Since some of her earlier films in Tamil didn’t fare too well (Kuselan, Satyam (Salute in Telugu), Villu and Aegan), she has now decided to accept more Telugu films.

But it now looks like Nayantara’s stars are rising. She is thrilled that she has bagged the lead role in Kodi Ramakrishna’s next film, a fantasy thriller produced by M.S. Raju of Sumanth Art Productions.

Nayantara will have three releases this year. She is about to complete her portion in Bodyguard (Malayalam), Anjaneyulu (Telugu) and Aadhavan (Tamil).

Jr NTR to play his grandfather’s role?

Young tiger Junior NTR has been ruling Tollywood with many hits to his credit. However he is currently busy with the shooting of his movie tentatively titled ‘Adurs’ along with V V Vinayak.

Sources reveal that he is in touch with popular director Dasari Narayana Rao. The buzz is that the two have discussed the chances of re-making one of NTR’s super hit movies.

The movie in discussion seems to be “Bobbili Puli”. There has been no confirmation as yet from any of the sources. Meanwhile if such a project works out then many feel it will be an exciting watch and given the energy levels of junior, the movie will gain some momentum.

Anushka's shock role in 'Vedam'

The hot and buxom beauty Anushka who is currently the ruling box office queen has been roped in the new movie 'Vedam'. Incidentally, there is news that she would be donning the role of a prostitute and this is being directed by Krish. The film also has stylish star Allu Arjun along with Manchu Manoj and this is being produced by the duo of Shobu Yarlagadda and Devineni Prasad.
