Lahari to release ‘Mithrudu’ music
Lahari to release ‘Mithrudu’ musicStarring Balakrishna and Priyamani in the lead pair, debutant director Mahadev, erstwhile associate of SS Rajamouli, is making the film produced by Sivalenka Krishna Prasad on Vaishnavi Cinema banner.
The film is undergoing shooting for awhile and was recently titled as ‘Mithrudu’. Talkie portions are under progress and once the songs are done, the post-production work will begin.
The audio of this film is planned for a March release and Lahari Audio Company will be launching it. Right now, shooting is on at different locales around Hyderabad. Priyamani had her latest ‘Drona’ with Nithin hit screens this weekend and Balakrishna will be seen after sometime on screen with ‘Mithrudu’.
Ram-Srivas team up for Rama Rama Krishna Krishna
‘Dil’ Raju is on a production spree with many films under production and some more in the pipe line to be commenced soon.
Young and handsome star Ram is quite popular after hits like ‘Ready’ and ‘Maska’. He is soon going to associate himself with director Srivas of ‘Lakshyam’ fame for a big budget film to be produced by ‘Dil’ Raju on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner.
The script work for this project has been completed and tentatively it will be known as ‘Ram Rama Krishna Krishna’.
‘Maska’ was a super hit for Ram and ‘Lakshyam’ is on the same line for Srivas. We need not reiterate ‘Dil’ Raju’s success graph here. So, we can definitely look with anticipation for this film and see how this best combination comes out with flying colors.
Kalavaramaaye Madilo
Inline is Kalavaramaaye Madilo staring Swathi of Ashta Chamma and Kamal Kamaraju of Avakai Biryani. It will obviously be a low budget romantic flick. According to director Satish (known for his award winning Hope), “It’s a musical love story”. Hindi actor Vikram Gokhale is also part of the cast. Producer Mohan Vadlapatla says, “It will be heart touching film revolving around a singer”.
It will be very interesting to watch a petite Swathi and a tall and handsome Kamal Kamaraju on screen. But while Swathi tasted success in Ashta Chamma, Kamal Kamaraju was unlucky with Avakai Biryani. Let’s see what is in store for us.

By now, the well acquainted news is ‘Dil’ Raju is making a huge budget film starring Nag Chainthanya and debutant Karthika, daughter of yesteryear heroine Radha. The movie has not been titled so far. Vasu Varma debuts as a director with this film.
The crew was working in the sets constructed at Hyderabad for awhile and also had some shooting schedules in Visakhapatnam. Now, they are moving to Vizag for a lengthy second schedule which will be followed by some more patch work in Hyderabad.
Ramoji Film City hosts Kalyan Ram’s film shoot
NTR Arts banner was established recently by Kalyan Ram and the production house made their maiden venture with ‘Athanokkade’ which had a good opening. Production No. 2 was ‘Hare Ram’, a high budget film that had a lukewarm response at the box office.
