Another socio-fantasy with Nagababu
Queing up with earlier Yamadonga and Yamagola another socio-fantasy with the lead role of Nagababu and Prema in lead roles is under progress.

Prakash Raj Is Ready To Offer Apologies
The controversial and stubborn actor Prakash Raj is all set to act in Telugu again. Recently Andhra Pradesh Producer’s Council had asked all the producers in Tollywood not to cast him in for their films after he failed to co-operate one of their members. A ban was imposed on the actor for the second time as his late lateef ways caused many a films in trouble.But now with his personal life in doldrums, the actor seems to have in reconciliation mood. Through a big Telugu producer, he is trying hard to be back in Telugu films. The said producer has a film under progress in which Prakash Raj has a major role. He needs the actor’s dates immediately. Hence he is putting pressure on the council to lift the ban on the actor.Prakash Raj was seen at Filmchamber office three days ago along with a top producer to have discussions with president and other executive members of the council.On other hand, Prakash Raj too is ready to offer apologies for the producers who suffered with him.
Puli is a trailor to Pawan Kalyan’s political entry: SJ Surya
Tamil actor Sj Surya is in Hyderabad directing Pawan Kalyan and Nikesha for Puli. He is just back from work and looks a bit fatigued. “Can we talk about Puli instead of my work as an actor or director ,” he asks modestly. He shows the scar beneath his eye. He recently met with an accident while shooting for his upcoming movie Newtonin 3-vadhu Vidhi (based on Newton’s third law), but made it in time with a heavy dose of antibiotics and stitches to direct the telugu film.
Surya hails from a village Vasudevanallu in Tirunalveli district in tamil nadu. Right from his childhood he was inclined towards films and when he expressed his desire to move to Chennai, his father was more than supportive. “My father is exactly like Vijaykumar in Kushi, his body language, the way he talks is just the same”, he tells Metro Plus. He worked for six years as production boy, office boy etc to become an assistant director but once he became an assistant director, there was no looking back. He has a lot of gratitude for Ajit who gave him a break in Vaali as a director and now Surya is an actor, breathing movies 24×7.
Surya apparently launched himself as an actor in the tamil version of Naani and directed the film in telugu too with Mahesh Babu. He talks with a tinge of sadness, “Kushi was a success in hindi, telugu and tamil. I enjoyed it’s success and took the pain of Naani’s failure in equal measure. Even today I get tears in my eyes when I think of Naani, it hurts a lot. I take the blame entirely, it’s my fault. “
The director says Puli is his last venture as a director. Hereafter he will not direct any film, he will either act or act and direct his own films. It was a commitment that was long overdue. He waxes eloquent on the actor. “ I’m doing it just for Pawan Kalyan and producer Ramesh. Pawan Kalyan is into politics and this Puli triggers his thought process, I’ve never seen him do anything without a reason, he needs to be inspired. That’s the quality of Puli. Nikesha, the heroine is a newcomer from the United Kingdom and is touted to be a very stylish girl. Binod Pradhan who was the cinematographer for Devdas and Rang De Basanti is handling the camera and AR Rehman too has been roped in for some fantastic music. Maheshbabu new movie to go to sets on Aug 4
After a stupendous hit like ‘Pokiri’, Maheshbabu tasted successive failures with films like ‘Sainikudu’ and ‘Atithi’. Unable to digest the failures, the Prince had decided to take a considerable gap to sign the dotted line for his next movie. It is well aware that the puja activities for his next film to be directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by Singanamala Ramesh on the banner of Kanakaratna Movies were held long ago. Now, the story for the film was finalised recently. It is learnt that the producer is making arrangements for the launch of the regular shooting of the film from August 4. After the miserable failure of ‘Atithi’ Maheshbabu kept himself off from the media and now he is getting ready to go to the sets directly. The combination of Maheshbabu and Trivikram was proved a big hit with the success of ‘Athadu’. Hence there were lots of expectations on their forthcoming film and the director committed to give another blockbuster with Maheshbabu in the same style. He reportedly prepared a very good subject for his project. As per indications, the film will have less action and more entertainment. Reliable sources say that Parvati Melton was selected as one of the heroines. However, the unit is yet to select the main heroine.
Nisha Kothari making inroads in Tollywood
Once upon a time Nisha Kothari was more famous as Ram Gopal Varma’s discovery, but now she’s making inroads in Tollywood. Her first Telugu flick to hit the screens was the Balakrishna starrer Okka Magadu, since then she’s appeared in a string of spiced up glamour roles. Now her new movie Hari Om starring new-comer Sekhar, along with Madhu Sharma, is in brisk progress. She has also replaced the actress Malavika in Samrajyam, being filmed in Tamil as Karthigai, due to Malavika’s pregnancy.
Known as Amoha in Kollywood, this spicy hot bombshell is called Nisha across the border in Tollywood. Actually, she’s was born Priyanka Kothari and says that she wants to be known by her original name. But then it’s a bit late for that now Amoha/Nisha. But ‘A rose is a rose by any other name.’

Story
Dhanalakshmi (Sneha Ullal) is the gorgeous daughter of the rich village head who is assigned the post of the village Zamindari. As usual Dhanalakshmi is unlucky to grow up in the hands of her mother as her own mother dies when she is in her childhood and so her father marries Kavitha. So as expected, the stepmother spreads her evil pangs over the head of Dhanalakshmi. The reason for this is because the whole Zamindari property worth 50 Cr is registered on the name of Dhanalakshmi before her father (Sneha’s Father) dies. As a second wife Kavitha gets only a paltry share of 50 lacs. For this reason Kavitha pesters her step child and holds her in her control.
Meanwhile, to ignite the love flame in the film Dhanalakshmi has a childhood friend named Balaji? But unfortunately Balaji’s father gets transferred and so Balaji leaves Dhanalaksmi and leaves to an undisclosed destination. When Dhanalakshmi grows up, she dreams about Balaji and then learns that she is in love with him.
Meanwhile, Kavitha plans to marry her step daughter to an innocent boy of her choice in order to take the hold of the entire property. Knowing this Dhanalakshmi leaves her home and runs away.
Dhanalaksmi migrates to her friend who resides in the city. Incidentally she meets the hero Aravind (Yasho Sagar). Aravind is a go free attitude dude who never cares or worries about anything. He is pampered by his father Chandramohan and Sudha in such a way that he never thinks about his future.
Aravind falls in love with Dhana, but Dhanalaksmi unable to forget her childhood friend and so reciprocates Aravind’s love. Aravind learns the truth and then helps Dhanalaksmi to trace her childhood friend turned lover. But a twist takes place then and finally Aravind wins his beloved back.
Performances
Yasho sagar does the role of an innocent youth in a sincere manner. His dialogue delivery and body language is well suited and never makes the audience that he is just a debutant.
Sneha Ullal does an impressive performance in a convincing way. She looks hot in some scenes. Her traditional costumes and salwar Kameez well suit her character. Sneha looks awesome in ultra glam doll scenes which are depicted in the songs.
Kavitha as a stepmother does her role with ease. Though her role is challenging, with all the experience in the industry Kavitha gives her 100% to the role.
The comedy track lead by Brahmanandham is little bit pale and dry. Some comedy scenes do churn out the tickles in the audience.
The music is well deservingly appraisable. The scenic locales will be apt for the tunes and the cinematography must be applauded for this. Most of the scenic locales are handled in and around the greenery of Karnataka.
The direction is average, but the dull script is well lifted with some innovative ideas from the wits of the director.
On the whole, since this movie is a petite starrer movie it may run on the whole up to 40 days. But sincerely this movie can be tagged as a family entertainer as the ingredients of Romance, sentiment, sacrifice are well mixed and presented. This movie is already declared as a musical entertainer as the music seems to be soothing to the ears.
