Kantri director back with NTR
Mehar Ramesh who made the film Kantri with Jr. NTR is now getting ready for a new film. After Kantri Ramesh made the film Billa with Prabhas as hero and the film did good business at the box office.
While Kantri did not do as well as expected, Jr. NTR got good appreciation for his role. He portrayed a softer image in the film. Ramesh is happy that NTR has given his nod for another film with him.
The film will go on to the floors in December. Ashwini Dutt who produced Kantri will make this film.
Kick completes 50 days in 220 centres
Crazy mass hero Ravi Teja's latest action flick Kick, directed by Surender Reddy and produced by Venkat under the banner of R.R. Movie Makers with a hefty budget of Rs. 20 crores, has completed 50 days in a total of 220 centres across the world.
According to its makers, the film is successfully running in 200 centres in the state and about 18 abroad. The makers are now planning to host a grand function to celebrate Kick's success. Meanwhile, Editor Mohan has bought the Tamil remake rights of Kick for a fancy amount. The Tamil version is expected to be directed by Raja with Jayam Ravi in the lead.
Kick revolves around Kalyan (Ravi Teja), who loves challenges and cannot live without getting a kick out of doing things. He falls in love with Naina (Ileana), but she ditches him due to Kalyan's habit of quitting jobs for what she feels are unnecessary reasons.
Naina goes to Malaysia where a tough cop Kalyan Krishna (Shaam) is interested to marry her. Interestingly, Kalyan Krishna is in a mission to catch a notorious thief, which naturally turns out to be Kalyan. How Kalyan manages to evade arrest and also win back his lady love forms the remaining part of the story.
Bendu Apparao in last schedule
EVV Satyanarayanas latest film Bendu Apparao RMP starring Naresh, Kamna Jetmalani and Meghana has reached its final schedule of shooting.
