Amma Rajasekhar to play villain

Popular choreographer Amma Rajasekhar turned director and became very close to the hearts of mass audiences with his films like 'Ranam' and 'Khatarnak'.

Now, he had decided to come in front of the camera too. Unlike other choreographer-turned-directors like Larencce and Prabhudeva, he doesn't want to play hero. Instead he wants to do a villain role.

Directed by Amma Rajasekhar, the film will have Srihari as hero while Priyamani is being considered as heroine opposite Srihari.

'Poru' is the title under consideration for the movie.

Presently 'Amma' Rajasekhar is busy with 'Bheebhatsam' in which his brother Yuvan is playing the debut hero.

'Mallepuvvu' audio launch on July 28

Post-production works are in progress for 'Mallepuvvu' directed by V Samudra, presented by P Prasada Raju and produced by Mohan Vadlapatla on the banner of Sri Samudra Silverscreens with Bhoomika and Muralikrishna in the lead.

Director says, 'A nice girl, who lived like a queen, faces some unexpected circumstances. How she came out of such situation is the subject. At the same time there is a love subject that runs as an undercurrent. Especially, the scenes that occur between the hero and heroine would enthrall the audiences. Illayaraja scored music for the film which would remain a highlight of the movie. Veturi penned fantastic lyrics for the tunes. We are making efforts to launch the audio on July 28.'

Target is Telugu version of Basic Instinct

The Hollywood thriller Basic Instinct was a run away hit. It starred the sexy Sharon Stone and the handsome Michael Douglas. The poster of the film, where Sharon Stone sits cross-legged with a mini-skirt and nothing underneath became a hit too.

Now, inspired by Basic Instinct, a film in Telugu titled Target, with Mumaith Khan and Sivabalaji, is being produced by S. Dasaratha and B. Ramakrishna.
Ramesh Raja, who earlier assisted directors Vijayabapineedu and Muppalaneni Siva, makes his debut as director.

Mumaith Khan plays the role of an arrogant and sexy novelist writing crime thrillers. Sivabalaji plays the role of a police officer. A mysterious murder takes place, which is planned and executed as written in one of the novels written by the novelist, Mumaith and therefore the police suspect her. The detection of the murder mystery forms the crux of the film.

Music for the film has been composed by Koti. The shhoting of the film is in progress.

Tollywood Is Not Safe For Girls says Mamatha Mohandas

Mamta Mohan Das, who hit the news headlines in the end of December last year for alleging that Actor -turned Director Chakravarthi was harassing her came up with some facts yesterday. During one of her shooting schedules, she gave a brief interview to the media. In that she said that she was happy with her career shaping well presently and wished to get nominated for a film fare award as a best actress.

Mamta cleared the air that, Tollywood was not safe for girls, but also disclosed that it depends on the character of the girl, her behavior and her deeds which ignite any kind of insecurity to her, physically and mentally.When she was projected, with the question that, Was she really harassed by Chakri for pleasure?
