450 Shots For Mumaith Khan's Song

Mumaith Khan and hero Sivabalaji recently filmed an item song in Hyderabad for Target. Directed by Ramesh Raja and produced by S. Dasaratha and B. Ramakrishna, Venu Madhav has a pivotal role in Target.

The song ‘Planettunu Deekotte Rockettera Nenu’ choreographed by Prem Rakshit was shot with 450 shots on Mumaith Khan.

Riaz Khan, Kondavalasa, Jeeva, Geetha Singh, Krishna Bhagavan, Saira Banu and others are among the star cast. Music is by Koti. The film will hit screens in the second week of August.

12 crore bunglow for Robot

Robot is a complete techno film which has Superstar Rajinikanth as hero. It is being directed by Shankar and is being produced jointly by Ayingaran International and Eros Multimedia. According to our reporter Bannu, the makers of Robot are all set to buy out a bunglow for 12 crores which will be used for the movie.

Robot movie is supposed to be the costliest movie of Indian cinema which is being made with a proposed budget of 120 crores. The director decided to make this movie over a period of 2 years. He also wanted a huge bunglow for shooting the film which would normally be hired or a set would be erected. But in this case, as the director wanted this house for two years to shoot the movie, the producers decided to buy a bunglow instead of renting it.

The proposed 12 crore bunglow is sistuated on East Coast Road in Chennai. This house will be used as the residence of Superstar Rajnikanth in Robot film.

Ram Gopal Verma to make Gayam 2

Crazy director Ram Gopal Verma is getting ready to make a sequel to his super hit film Gayam which showed family hero Jagapathi Babu as an angry young man for the first time in his career. This movie will be directed by debutant director Praveen who earlier made a short film titled Souls.

The sequel to Gayam movie may or may not have have Jagapathi Babu as the hero because the makers didnt announce any details about the new movie.

Nagarjuna and Lawrence team up again

Hero Nagarjuna and dancer turned choreographer turned director turned music director Raghava Lawrence are going to do yet another movie. This new movie will be the third one after Mass and Don. Lawrence will be directing this new movie and Nagarjuna will be doing the lead role. This new movie will be produced by C Kalyan.

Lawrence started out as a dancer in telugu film industry and then slowly became a choreographer with the encouragement of Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi. He later turned into a film director and directed Mass movie with the push given by Nagarjuna. He directed Nag for a second time in Don which was not as big a hit as Mass. He even did the music direction for Don movie. Now Nagarjuna is again giving his chance for the third time.

The proposed new and third project in Nag-Lawrence combination will start in December 2008 and will be released in May 2009.

Three music directors for one song

Three big Tollywood music directors are working together for one song. Two music directors are singing this song while one music director is composing music for it.

This rare feat is taking place for one song in Charmi, Srikanth new movie Kausalya Supraja Rama. Music directors Ramana Gokula and MM Srilekha are singing one song in this movie while Koti is composing music for it.

Kausalya Supraja Rama is being directed by Surya Prasad and is being produced by Ramanaidu on Suresh Productions banner. Gowri Munjal plays another heroine in this comedy flick.

The shooting of this film is almost complete except for two songs which will be shot in foreign locations.

Mahesh Babu angry with fans

Hero Mahesh Babu and Super star Krishna fans are all set to celebrate their hero’s birthday in a very grand way. The All India Mahesh-Krishna Sena is getting ready to do a month long social activites in and around Hyderabad. They are going to end the activities on August 9th which is Mahesh Babu birthday. The fans of Mahesh Babu are going to do blood donation camps, eye donation camps, text books distribution to children, planting of trees, felicitating freedom fighters and also screening Mahesh Babu movies. Mahesh who likes to celebrate his birthday in a very simple and calm way is angry with his fans activities. This is because the media is applying a political colour to these charity activities. Mahesh Babu doesnt want to get involved in Andhra politics in any way. He wants to just act in movies for time being.

Hare Ram review

My analysis: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has atlast did a decent movie after a very long time, his last good movie being Atanokkade. It seems that Kalyan Ram is being very careful in story selection, action, body language etc only when he is producing the movie. Over all Hare Ram movie is a good action flick with good amount of twists. Good story, apt direction, crisp editing and good music adds to the success of the movie.

Only problem in the story is that it has the shades of tamil flick Manmadhan in which Simbu goes on a killing spree.

Similarities between Hare Ram and Manmadhan:

1. Hero plays dual roles.

2. The younger one is mentally retarted.

3. The younger one kills people in both the movies (It is shown in that way in the first half).

4. In the second half, it is revealed that the eleder one kills everybody in both the flicks.

5. The mentally retarded hero dies in both the movies.

6. The eleder one comes out of the hands of Police using the name of mentally retarded hero in both the movies.

7. Sindhu Tolani is the heroine for the mentally disabled guy in both the movies.

8. Heroine has a killer phobia in both the movies.

9. Both movies has revenge as the back drop.

But the best part of the movie is that both Kalyan Ram and director Harsha Vardhan could make a good story and movie even though it had the shades of Manmadhan film. Its a decent movie with good technical values.

Performances: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has done the roles of a sincere Police officer and a serial killer. He showed good differece between the two roles. His body language and his mannerisms were good and different for both the roles. He showed his acting talent for the first time in his entire filmy career.

Priyamani as the modern girl who runs behind the hero is good, but her role as a CBI officer didn’t suit her. She looks good in the modern outfits. Sindhu Tolani is the second heroine who looks decent in her brief role. She does the role of a TV reporter.

Kota Srinivas Rao and Rajeev Kanakala as usual suited for the villan’s roles.

Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Ali and Venu Madhav created the necessary comedy for Hare Ram.

Chandra Mohan, Sita, Chalapathi Rao and Sudha lived up in the roles of hero’s parents.

Music by Mickey J Meyer is very good, mainly the background score. Background score is really good when the serial killer comes into the scene. The music for the songs and their picturization is also good.

Story by Ram Prasad is good. He has mixed action with health mafia. The only problem in the story is that, it has the shades of tamil movie Manmadhan who had Silambarasan playing the lead roles.

Direction by Harsha Vardhan is excellent. He has given the required twists at the requried moment. He maintained the tempo of the movie till the last without losing the grip on the story. Only the climax episode is little big and prolonged.

Story: Ram and Harikrishna (Kalyan Ram) are brothers who get seperated in childhood because of Ram’s mental attitude. Hari Krishna grows up to be an IPS officer and Ram grows up to be a serial killer who kills intelligent people. Anjali (Priyamani) is a CBI officer who arrests Hari Krishna for serial killings. To know who does all the murders and the reason behind the murders, one must see Hare Ram movie.

NTR As Police Officer In VV Vinayak Movie

NTR-VV Vinayak film was launched couple months back and it was heard that the script the film was not ready to go on floors for regular shoot. Now It appears to be everything is finalized and NTR is playing the police officer role in the film.
