Sakshi TV for Dassera festival.
YS Jagan who entered media filed with Print media Sakshi news paper has proved himself by bringing it out with great success. Now he is coming up with TV channel name Sakshi TV. The channel will air its programs from coming Dassera. It is 24/7 News Channel. Jagan is also coming up with English daily named 'The Guardian' very soon.
Rajini’s next - Sultan
Rajinikanth’s latest movie Kuselan where he does a small role has mixed reviews. His next bet is on Sultan. Will the superstar continue to bring full houses to this animation film directed by Soundarya.
The budget of this film is estimated to be more than 70 crores and Adlabs is backing up the production cost.
‘Sultan’ is also being made in 18 languages. Will this be a change in the way people look at Indian cinema and will there we a change of audience flavour? We have to watch and see.

Slim Vishnu & Ileana to love each other
Manchu Vishnuvardhan Babu, who had a super hit ‘Dhee’ in his film career last year, from now on, act in big banner movies. Recently, with the advice from Junior NTR, he shed oodles of weight and is looking slim and handsome these days. One can catch a glimpse of him in every weekend parties at liquids.
Coming to his film career, on a strict advice from his father Mohan Babu Vishnu will only act in big banner films which has reputed directors in its making. It is said that, since Chiranjeevi’s son Charan is doing only big budget movies with big directors, Mohan Babu is said to be following the same for his son’s future.
YVS Choudhary, who has carved some blockbusters like ‘Lahari Lahari Lahari Lo’, and ‘Devdas’ is going to direct the next movie of Vishnu. The title of the movie is likely to be registered as “Saleem – Dhummu Leeputhadu”. This movie will be produced by Lakshmi Prasanna pictures and roped in sexy lass Ileana into it.
The story will be a romantic thriller and will be Masala mix film for the mass audience. Ileana will be depicted as a glam doll and it is said that she is going to expose more in this film then her previous “AATA”.
Some close sources to YVS report that, a second heroine will also be tailored into the movie in the second schedule of this film. The shooting will start in September this year. Rakhi Sawanth of bollywood, will do an item song in this film.

'Blade Babji' release in August
Re-recording is in final stages for 'Blade Babji' directed by Devi Prasad and produced by Mutyala Satyakumar on the banner of Satya Movies with 'Allari' Naresh and Sayali Bhagat in the lead.
Producer says, 'We are making efforts to release the film by the end of August. The songs canned in foreign locales would be a highlight. Our hero Babji is a pickpocket. A beautiful damsel enters his life and how his life was changed was the subject. We made the film a complete, out and out entertainer. We are sure that our film would tickle the funny bones of audiences for complete two and a half hours.'
Ruthika, Kausha, Brahmanandam, Venumadhav, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam, Krishna Bhagawan, MS Narayana, LB Sriram and others are in the cast.
Music is by Koti while story, screenplay and direction are by Devi Prasad.
Mahesh babu‘s Varudu Hindi Hum Tum
Singanamala Ramesh is producing a new Mahesh Babu starring ‘Varudu‘ directed by Thrivikram Srinivas, on Kanakarathna Movies banner.
According to the close sources the film is based ‘Hum Tum‘ of Hindi of Saif Ali Khan and Rani Mukherjee. In fact it is said that the hero approached the director to prepare a story after viewing the Hindi hit movie.
It is maintained that the film will be full of action and romance. Srinivas hopes as like his earlier hits ‘Athadu‘ and Okkadu this one will also reach and entertain audience.
Dr Mohan Babu and Sri Hari will play prominent roles in the film. The producers plan to wind-up the works and release the film for NewYear 2009.
However, the heroine and other casts are yet to be decided.
Prabhas‘s ‘Raju‘ Starts From 4th August
Senior actor Krishnam Raju‘s Gopi Krishna Movies get to resume their production after a haitus. The company has produced earlier super hits like Amara Deepam‘, ‘Bhakta Kannappa‘, ‘Krishna Veni‘, ‘Seetha Ramulu‘, ‘Mana Voori Pandavulu‘.
Featuring Rebel Star Krishnam Raju and his nephew Prabhas in the lead roles, the new movie commences the shooting on 4th August. Title ‘Raju‘ is under consideration.
Director SS Rajamouli‘s ex teammate Mahadevan has taken the charge of direction for the first time.
The story line is said to be influenced by the Sivaji Ganesan and Kamal Haasan starrer ‘Kshatriya Puthrudu‘

Mamta mohan das who is on clod nine these days as her role in ‘Kathnayakudu’ is said to be interesting and is fetching good reviews. Though it is a cameo role, the juncture in which, the role gets inserted into the film, is said to be applauding.‘HOMAM’ is the next film of Mamta Mohan das as a full fledged heroine and it is already a known fact that she has done some steamy scenes with Jagapathi babu in this film. A rain song will reveal Mamta’s inner wear in the film, which is said to heat up the pants of her male fans, when the film gets screened on the silver screen.
Dil Raju has purchased the total rights of the film and the music releases will be done on 3rd august in AD labs studios. Ram Gopal varma, who is a mentor of JD Chakravarthi will release the audio of this film. JD chakravarthi, who happens to be the director, was alleged to sexually harass Mamta Mohan Das during the shooting of this film in February. But as time passed this gossip was suppressed in the industry as Mamta was not in a position to reveal any facts about it.
