Story: A regular tale, the story goes around Pragathi (krithi) who works with an NGO and wants to help the poor farmers. However, her father (ahuti Prasad) being a minister does not help and she decides to take matters in her own hands. She stages a kidnap drama so that ransom can be taken to help the farmers. However, things take a turn when she gets kidnapped by the goondas DD (sumanth) and Chinna (trinetrudu) on instructions from Das (jayaprakash) and Giri (tanikella). Their man goal is to set up a 'Pulihora; (lemon rice, mango rice) centre and hence all this. However, in no time DD falls in love with Pragathi and starts helping her out with her problems. What happens from there form the rest of the story. Presentation: The director has attempted to come up with a racy entertainer and parallely he also wanted to run a tender romance. Though the presentation was neat, the narrative was not upto the mark. The dialogues were dull, the screenplay was alright but the script did not have strength. Background score was a highlight though not many songs were really upbeat or energetic. However, the cinematography was top notch while editing was okay this time. Costumes and locations were neat, they did a good job too. Sumanth needs to pump in more energy to his performance since he is doing a mass role and shoulders the entire movie throughout. Krithi did her part very well and was completely at ease in front of the camera, she has a very natural sex appeal, Trinetrudu has good expressions and his body language has to be more positive. The others like Tanikella (above average) Ahuti (regular) Chandramohan (normal), Jayaprakash (good) etc contributed in their own way. Conclusion: The film has been made with good technical standards but then it was not able to create an impact with the content and the narrative. While the first half goes in a regular manner with the action and song sequences, there is some story in the second half but even that gets over in a jiffy. Sumanth's attempt at mass roles should be avoided. The film might run due to the fairly good audio and also the presence of the beautiful Krithi along with the production values, but for those who want some real story and entertainment, this may not suffice. telugua1movies Verdict: Just a passable treat, nothing catchy.
