MRPS leader Manda Krishna recently launched a tirade against Kantri producer and director for showing the dalits in poor light in a scene in the film. He took strong objection to those scenes and asked the concerned to tender an apology and issued a deadline to delete the scenes.
Maher Ramesh director of the film responded positively to his warning and edited the episode mentioned and apologized for hurting the sentiments of backward castes..
