Dookudu collects Rs 12.56 crores on day 1

Mahesh Babu’s latest film Dookudu is off to a flying start at box office and the reports from all corners of the state suggest that it’s going to set all time records at box office in almost all centres. We had earlier reported that the film collected close to Rs 2 crores in Nizam alone on day one which is a new record. Now, the producers of Dookudu, Gopichand, Achanta Ram and Anil Sunkara went ahead and made a statement about the film’s record collections. “We are extremely with the way the film is doing at box office. The film collected a gross of Rs 12.56 crores on first day and the share was Rs 10.11 crores. Even in US and other foreign markets, the film has set a new record by collecting $1 million within two days of its release. We would like to thank Mahesh Babu, Srinu Vaitla and the people who have whole heartedly accepted our film.”
Brahmanandam, Prakash Raj, MS Narayana, Samantha , Sonu Sood, Nazar, Pragathi Rajkumar, Sayaji Shinde and few other actors played important roles in the film. Srinu Vaitla had directed it. Thaman had composed the music.
