As per filmnagar sources, NBK got his interest back on his Mythological film Narthanasala.After Arundathi and Magadheera,in which technical aspects playing a huge role in success, NBK thinking of to resume his shooting of this film. The shooting started long time back, stopped due to Soundarya's death and many other unknown reasons. Balakrishna himself is directing the film.
