Ongoing Gopichand-Trisha starrer Shankam (also spelt Sankham), directed by cameraman-turned-director Shiva, is set to release on September 4. The audio will be released on August 15.Touted to be a mass entertainer with action, romance, drama, sentiment and comedy, Shankam is jointly produced by Bhagavan and Pullarao under the banner of Balaji Cine Media.
Sathyaraj, a major star in Kollywood, is playing Gopichand’s father in this film, while Chandramohan, Dharmavarapu, Ali, Venu Madhav, M.S. Narayana, L.B. Sriram, Raghunatha Reddy, Sitha, Rajitha, Sakunthal and Radha Kumari will be seen in the supporting cast. Taman scores the music. Vetri handles the camera. Dialogues are by Anil and Ravipudi. Art is by Vivek and editing is by Marthand K. Venkatesh.(galatta)
