Story:
A rotten tale, the story begins with Dr Pavithra (madhurima) who is known for her expertise in job and due to this, she is also a special consultant to the police department as she helps them in getting the truth out of the criminals with her innovative methods. She lives with her father (Vijayachander) who is a retired magistrate and also her sister's daughter. However, trouble comes to her in the form of her brother in law who is keen on having his daughter and Pavitra knows she cannot give the girl since her brother in law happens to be a drunkard. All this apart, there is also Bongarala Bujji (ajay) who is an assistant to the famous criminal lawyer Sri Krishna (suresh gopi) and both of them are busy in the case of acquitting a fake swamiji. Both Bujji and Pavitra's paths cross each other and they fall in love. Things change when Pavitra and her family members start getting troubled by an unknown person. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation:
The director has come up with a routine plot and he did not even take enough consideration on whether the narrative is strong or not. The dialogues were dull, the script had flaws and even the screenplay was not upto the mark. Though two songs were okay, the rest were not that great and even the background score failed to create an impact. Cinematography deserves credit for the good capturing of emotions and angles. Costumes and locations were good and even the art department has done a good job. Editing was poor. Coming to the cast, Ajay seems to be more comfortable doing a villain's roles since those who saw the film said that he is unable to come up with the softer side of emotions and he needs to practice heard on that side. However, those flaws have been covered by the new beauty Madhurima who provided full glamour treat. Suresh Gopi could have been better. Nazar was alright, M S was okay, Dharmavarapu was not utilized to his caliber, same is the case with Sunil.
Conclusion:
The film's major disadvantage is the length and it ran upto nearly 2 hours and 45 minutes. While the first half took ages to get to the plot, the second half was busy with the character building and it must be said that a lot of money has been spent in the making of the film. Also, the performance of the lead hero who shouldered the major part of the film was not able to shine. The film has enough stuff for the mass audience but then the length is too cumbersome to digest. Not much for the family and the class audience and it could well be that the film will fizzle out in no time.
