Review

Story

Niharika (Charmee) is a journalist who believes in true idealism and bringing truth to the people. However, her boss (Ahuti Prasad) believes in TRP increasing sensational news than truths.

She decides to venture out one night and gather some interesting bits for the channel. However, due to a freak coincidence, her pen camera captures a conversation between a crooked politician (Pilla Prasad) and his dangerous plan to oust the CM and take his chair.

The politician’s goons set out to kill Niharika and in this process, she comes across Babu (Jagapathi Babu). What are the challenges Niharika faces in her quest for truth? Is she able to stop the mayhem? All this forms the rest of the story.

Artists Performance:

It is a pity to see Charmee doing such meaningless roles. She should introspect her talent and increase her self confidence. She has a lot better acting material and sex appeal than such roles.

Jagapathi Babu comes up with another blinder. One really wonders if he is the same Durga we saw in ‘Ghayam’. He did his bit mechanically but honestly this is another black mark to his career.

Pilla Prasad was apt in his performance. The menacing looks, the dialogue delivery suit his evil shades. He must be given more opportunities.

Uttej was effective, Parachuri Gopalakrishna was okay, Ahuti Prasad was average, Babu Mohan made his presence felt, Siva Reddy was wasted. The others didn’t have anything to offer.

No conviction in scenes

Final Analysis:

For some reason, few directors tend to think that if they put two and two together with some noted faces, the film becomes a hit.

Well, these are few fundamental errors which have not been rectified. Here, the makers try to come up with a message oriented flick but such themes require a strong conviction and a good grip over the script.

Also, it must have the ability to draw the audience into the story. Nothing of that was followed. With a stale narrative and poor technical values, the film tries to talk about bringing about a change in the system. One can see shades of films like ‘Rann’ ‘Corporate’ and other social movies. Projecting Maoist philosophy as the right solution is another disaster. Instigating youth to take arms is unforgivable.

Overall, this is a film which is weak in production values, content and execution. At the box office, it will sleep just like the title within one week.

Bala Krishna’s Sri Rama Rajyam set for August release

Nandamuri Bala Krishna’s mythological epic Sri Rama Rajyam is set for an August release. The multi-starrer film reached its final leg of shooting and will be completed by 28th June.
Bala Krishna and Nayantara are donning the roles of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita respectively while ANR will be seen in the role of Valmiki. Sri Rama Rajyam is taking shape in the direction of Bapu and Yalamanchali Saibabu is producing it on Sri Sai Baba Movies banner. Ilayaraja has composed the music for the film and the movie is said to have seven songs along with two bit songs.
The audio of Sri Rama Rajyam is expected to launch in the last week of July while the film reaches the big-screens in August.

The new film by one of India’s finest directors.
Plot
Walter (Vishal) and Danda (Arya) are half brothers from the same father and loud mothers. The brothers come from a family of thieves through the generations and are very much part of the tradition.
Walter’s a stage actor, singer, dancer…a local artist. Danda’s are more
skilled thief and scammer as compared to his brother who finds it hard to manage the tradition and the artist in him.
The last existing heir of the local royal family (Highness played by G M
Kumar) is the most important part of the brothers and their families. Though a bungalow and a temple are all Highness is left with, the village still bows down to his bloodline and rally him around like a local God on his birthdays.
The plot very much revolves around the special bond the brothers’
share with the old bachelor Highness with their own love interests in the background.
Why is Bala a world class director?
Have you ever been able to think of what the actor looked like in real or did any of his past performances or avatars come back to you when watching him in a Bala film, if they did, your attention is else where.
Unlike most of the pretentious idiots posing off as directors, Bala is a
complete master of the crafts he wants to explore. Be it the visual, sound,montages, performances, lines, plot, ambience…everything you see on screen, every frame had been processed and enhanced in The Man’s head and his head is all he listens to when his film is getting made, at least seems like that.
He’s a rare treasure, someone with a vision.
Actors
I’ve come up with around 5 ways to start this segment – the actors segment for a Bala film and I’ve erased all five of them. The usual mystery that surrounds anyone who thinks of films now and then is this hard to arrive at answer, the question being – What happens to an actor when he works with Bala?
Does he just do a little pep talk before every scene, does he act it out
(doesn’t seem like it) or does he drug them and make them believe that they are someone else?
Choose an actor who worked with Bala and do this:
Any of his previous films VS. A Bala film And the drug theory I proposed won’t seem that irrational.Every single living being on screen had given the best performance of their lives which includes the auto driver who is in frame for about a few seconds without a line to say.
The main cast is way beyond this review or any other written piece you
might read about the film. The acting is World Class.
Verdict
It’ll be your money’s worth in a long time. Sweat, mud, liquor breath and insanity – revisit Bala

Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh is confirmed

This would be the true multistarrer of the current era. Mahesh Babu and Venkatesh are teaming up for Dil Raju’s future ventures and it is confirmed. Mahesh, who heard the subject narrated by the director Srikanth Addala was impressed with it and has green lit the project.

                           Although Dil Raju is waiting for the right time to announce this film, film circles have confirmed that Mahesh has signed on the dotted line. Actually it was planned with Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh in the beginning but finally it landed in Mahesh’s lap. This film would go to sets by this year end. Heroines are not yet finalized. Dil Raju is taking immense care to make this memorable film by roping in the best team off and on screen.

Ram’s new film “Endukante Premanta”

Few months back hero Ram has signed a new film under the direction of Karunakaran. Earlier we also heard that title "Mana Love Story" was under consideration for the film, but now the latest news is that movie title tentatively confirmed as “Endukante Premanta”. The movie title looks like different from the regular titles.
This film will be a romantic love entertainer film. We all know that director Karunakaran is good in making love films and he also proved with the films like Tholi Prema, Ullasanga Utsahanga, Darling, etc. In this film milky beauty Tamannah is pairing up with Ram and it is also the first time Ram and Tamanna are working together.  
The movie will be produced by Sravanthi Ravi Kishore. Soon the movie will go on to sets. More details on this project yet to be known.
Presently hero Ram is busy with the shooting of his upcoming film "Kandireega", which is going on in Switzerland currently.
