NBK new film titled Mahadeva Naidu

Earlier Chitramala informed that "Mahadeva Naidu" title is under consideration for Nandamuri Balakrishna’s film under Paruchuri Murali direction. Now the latest news is that this title has been confirmed it seems because Mahadeva Naidu title has been registered at film chambers by the movie makers. This movie is being produced by ML Kumar Chowdary under the banner Kirti Combines. Music director Kalyan Malik is scoring the music for this flick.
This movie has completed its shooting schedule in Vizag, Araku and Hyderabad. As per the sources soon the film unit is going to the Kurnool for the shooting of next schedule and still 30 days shooting schedule is pending for this film.
In this film NBK is playing the triple role and he is romancing with three hot girls Lakshmi Rai, Charmi and Saloni.
Apart from this film NBK is also busy with the shooting of his another film titled "Sri Ramrajyam". NBK has also signed another film under the direction of B.Gopal. Presently the movie pre production works are going on. For this flick we also heard that the title Hara Hara Mahadeva was under consideration by the movie makers.

100% Love releasing on May 5th

Naga Chaitanya and Tamannah starrer upcoming film “100% Love” is going to release on May 5th. Earlier it was stated to release on April 29th, now it has been postponed to May 5th. But still official announcement about the release date is yet to be made from the movie makers.

Presently the movie post-production works are going on. As per the sources the post-production works are slightly delayed due to the strike in Tollywood. Now the movie makers are planning to release on May 5th without further delay.

In this film Nanga Chaitanya will be seen in a College Student role and Tamannah will be seen in a village girl role, who likes movies more than studies.

The movie audio was released recently in a grand manner. The audio songs and promos of the film are already getting the good response from the audience. Especially two tracks – Infatuation and Diyala Diyalo have become instant chartbusters.

It is being directed by Sukumar and Bunny Vasu is producing this film under the Geetha Arts banner, while mega producer Allu Aravind is presenting it. Devisri Prasad has scored the music for the film.

Review

Story

Vicky (Prabhas) who lives in Australia grows with a rule that he would never compromise for anything he doesn’t like. Given his practical thinking, he wants everything to be perfect, even in relationships. The marriage of his sister gets him to India and here he meets Priya, daughter of his father’s friend (Murali Mohan). As such, Vicky’s father (Nasser) wants him to get married to Priya.

Initially, both Vicky and Priya feel repulsive but in no time, Priya starts falling in love. She begins to change herself to suit Vicky’s life and thoughts. However, when the moment comes, Vicky gives his practical outlook and returns to Australia.

Here, he meets Maggi (Taapsee) through a competition and feels she is the perfect one. How perfect is Maggi for Vicky? How true is Priya’s love for Vicky? How correct is Vicky in his thoughts? All this forms the rest of the story.

Artists Performance:

Prabhas has given a decent performance. He scores in his outfits and timing of dialogues but he should have reduced the mannerism of keeping his hand in pant pocket in almost all scenes, might look like fashion and style but felt like an overdose.

Kajal Agarwal is expressively beautiful and is drop dead gorgeous in sarees. She is a visual treat to the audience and steals few more hearts with her endearing smiles. Performance wise, she was apt.

Taapsee looks hot and fits the bill rightly given her character. The dubbing suited her expressions and she fills the glamour quotient.

K Vishwanath was elegant, Prakashraj was matured, Sayaji Shinde was noisy, Nasser was natural, Brahmi tried to bring few smiles, Raghu Babu was jarring, Master Bharat was regular. The ladies did their bit to support.

Final Analysis:

The film comes across as a clean, family entertainer and the intention of the makers must be appreciated. Their attempt to reiterate the values of love, life, relationships in today’s world is acknowledged. However, dealing with such human subjects requires humane feel and a deft handling of the script, that was missing here.

As such, the protagonist goes with the flow of destiny but there is nothing significant he does to perfect the situations. He is more on the receiving end most of the time. On the other hand, the idea of a girl willing to adapt herself like that was rather unconvincing (of course, finding a girl like that in today’s times is jackpot fortune).

First half comprises with good humor and flow of drama. And second half also continues in similar fashion recalling the blend of Santhosham and Bommarillu but with weak handling of emotions. Required emotion is not carried in the fag end of the film and hence it appeared weak.

The film deals with the understanding of relations between younger generation and the older ones. The plus point in the film is that all the songs are good with pleasing music and sensible lyrics. But all are situational songs and no duets are seen in this genre of film, surprisingly.

Having said that, the film appeals largely due to the conviction in the belief of love, sharing and how few things in life cannot be got merely by rational thinking. At the box office, this is a treat for the family audience and given the craze for Prabhas and Kajal, the openings will be strong. Overall, this would be anywhere between an above-average and profit grosser.

Final Word: Mr Perfect is Partly Good and Partly Predictable.

Trade Talk: This movie has started off really well as today is a national holiday (Good Friday). Producer Dil Raju sold out only few areas. The buyer of Krishna has bought this movie for 90 lacs and this movie is expected to collect 90 lac share in the first week and is poised to collect a total share of 1.5 cr in Krishna. Mr. Perfect has all the ingradients to attract youth and familes and is poised to cash the summer advantage in.

Jr NTR under Sukumar direction

Bala Krishna has signed up a new film under the direction of B.Gopal. Now the latest news is that the film makers of the film has confirmed the “Nandheeswarudu” title for this film.

Nag and NBk combo film

The two top most actors from Tollywood are going to share the screen for a film. As per the sources Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjuna are going to act together in the remake of Malayalam super hit film "Christian Brothers" in Telugu.
We all know that NTR and ANR are two pillars of the Telugu cinema industry, even though they are big actors and competed with each other, but they acted together in many films. NTR and ANR together acted in almost 16 films. The together shared the screen in hit films like Missamma, Gundamma Katha, Maya Bazar and many more. But their sons Balakrishna and Nagarjuna could not act together. Finally they are back to entertain the Nadamuri and Akkineni fans.
Producer Bellam Konda suresh convinced both Balayya and Nagarjuna to come together in a film, which is the remake of Malayalam super hit film Christian Brothers in Telugu. Bellamkonda Suresh has acquired the rights of this film and he is producing this film in Telugu. Bellamkonda approached NBK to act in this film and he agreed to do the movie if Nagarjuna agrees. Nagarjuna is also positive to act in this film. In original movie Mohan Lal, Suresh Gopi, Dileep and Sharath Kumar were acted.
