Suhasini as Allu Arjun’s mother
National award winning actress-director-producer-cinematographer Suhasini, wife of ace director Mani Ratnam, is all set to make her reentry in Tollywood! The multi-talented actress will be seen in the role of Allu Arjun’s mother in director Guna Sekhar’s latest film, being produced by Danayya under the banner of Universal Media.
The film has started rolling from March 22 in a grand set built at Ramoji Rao Film City, Hyderabad. Tamil actor Arya, who is basking in the glory of his superb performance in Nan Kadavul, is acting as the antagonist in this film.
Music is scored by Mani Sharma and lyrics are penned by Veturi. Ashok is the art designer, while Stunt Shiva composes the action scenes. Editing will be by Srikar Prasad and photography by R.D. Rajasekhar.(galatta)

Nagachaitanya to star in remake of ‘Shiva’
According to film nagar sources, third venture of JD Chakavarthy to come up with a remake of ‘Shiva’. He is said to be showing interest in the project and talks are said to be going on with Nagarjuna and RGV with JD taking the lead. Already JD remade the Bollywood hit ‘Ab Tak Chappan’ in Telugu as Siddham with Jagapathi Babu and proved his directorial capability.

మగధీర స్టొరీ లైన్ అంటూ ఓ కథ ప్రచారం లోకి వచ్చింది. వారు చెప్పే దాని ప్రకారం కాలభైరవ గా రామ్ చరణ్ కనపడతారు. అతని ప్రేయసి ఓ రాకుమార్తె. ఐతే కాలభైరవను ఎలాగైనా అంతం చేసి అతని ప్రేమను భగ్నం చేసేందుకు అంతఃపురంలోనే కుట్రలు జరుగుతుంటాయి. కాలభైరవ సవతి సోదరుడే (శ్రీహరి) ఇందుకు సూత్రధారి. ఆ కుట్రకు గురై తమ ప్రేమను పండించుకోలేక పోయిన కాలభైరవ, అతని ప్రియురాలు మరో జన్మ ఎత్తుతారు. కాలభైరవ ఒక స్టంట్ మన్ గా, ప్రిన్స్ ఓ ఫ్యాషన్ డిజైనర్ గా ఉంటూ తిరిగి కలుస్తారు. ఆ కాలంలో ఈ ఇద్దరి ప్రేమ జంటను విడిదీసిన సవతి సోదరుడే ఈ జన్మలో వారిద్దరినీ కలుపుతాడు. కాలభైరవగా-స్టంట్ మన్ గా రామ్ చరణ్, ప్రిన్స్ గా-ఫ్యాషన్ డిజైనర్ గా కాజల్, ఆ ఇద్దర్నీ విడదీసి మళ్లీ కలిపే పాత్రలో శ్రీహరి నటిస్తున్నారు.
రాజస్ఠాన్ లో షూటింగ్ జరుపుకున్న ఈ చిత్రం పునర్జమన్మ కాన్సెప్ట్ చుట్టూ తిరుగుతుంది. శ్రీహరి సైతం ఈ చిత్రంలో కీలకమైన పాత్ర చేసారని వినికిడి. గీతా ఆర్ట్స్ పై గజనీ తర్వాత ఎక్కువ బడ్జెట్ లో నిర్మితమైన చిత్రం ఇదేనని తెలుస్తోంది. అలాగే చిరంజీవి కెరీర్ లో సూపర్ హిట్ ఘరానామొగుడు లోని బంగారు కోడి పెట్ట పాటను ఈ చిత్రంలో రీమిక్స్ చేసారు. అంతేగాక చిరంజీవి సైతం తన కుమారుడుతో కలిసి స్టెప్స్ వేసి తన అభిమానులను అలరించనున్నారు. ఇక ఇప్పటివరకూ ఒక్క ప్లాప్ కూడా లేని రాజమౌళి డైరక్ట్ చేయటంతో ఈ సినిమాపై మంచి ఎక్సపెక్టేషన్స్ ఉన్నాయి.

The movie based on the real life experience of Qingyao Lei.Ningi Nela Naadhe Movie Story:
Jihva (Qingyao) a fun loving brilliant girl who is good in her studies. Her Parents are Poor who earn their livelihood by making kites. Jihva’s mother’s dream is to see her daughter getting into the university and both husband and wife toil hard for it. However, an accident happens and Jihva loses both her hands, from there starts the challenges in her life and whether she is able to overcome them or not forms the rest of the story.
Performances:
Qingyao Lei came up with an impressive performance and she has been supported well by the supporting cast as well. Yang Jing was good and gave her bit while Qina Ritu was graceful and fitted his role very well.
The music composed with touching tunes and the two songs sung by Chitra, boost up the adrenaline and elevate the mood of audiences. Dialogues are simple and easy to understand with neat scrip and screenplay was top notch. Cinematography was mesmerizing and there are some really eye catching shots taken. Locations were spellbinding and the pace of the film has been quite healthy. The director has come up with a good narrative and his presentation was also impressive.
On the Whole the film stands as a true inspiration to the viewers and the efforts the protagonist takes to achieve her goal is something that can be understood only by watching it on the screen.

Jagapathi Babu's Next Film Title 'Surya Kantham'
A popular banner has grooved in Jagapathi Babu to act in a film with the title ‘Suryakantham’. The title was registered and many are happy towards the same. It sounds interesting and humorous and Jagapathi Babu is going to give a pleasant family treat with this film.
Right now he is busy with the film ‘Pravarakhyudu’ with Madan as director and Priyamani as heroine.
He will be hitting the floors of ‘Surya Kantham’ in Ramoji Film City once the Pravarakhyudu shoot is over. Other details of this project will be revealed soon.

Review
Story
Uday (Siddharth) is a rich and spoilt brat who believes in short term pleasures. Sandhya (Shamili) is a loner who lives on her own. She is a responsible girl with long term plans and strict principles. Uday falls in love with Sandhya at the very first sight. And she joins her place as a paying guest. When everything is going well, Uday comes to know that Sandhya is suffering from cancer and her days are numbered. But Sandhya is not aware of it. The rest of the story is all about how Uday makes Sandhya realise all her unfulfilled wishes.
Artists Performance:
Siddharth is excellent as Uday. His costumes and goggles are very nice. He made sure that he wore goggles for 80% of his screen appearance (including songs). His dances in songs are energetic. Shamili is pretty good with acting, though her looks are strictly average. They should have manager the dark circles around eyes with good make-up. It may be a sheer coincidence for Shamili to again act as a patient in her debut film as a heroine. She had earlier donned the role of a mentally challenged, ill girl when she was just three years old in Maniratnam's blockbuster Anjali and won the national award. Krishnudu is good. Sunil is not good in first half, but is nice in the second half. One doesn’t understand why they cast Napoleon for that role. Pradeep Rawat did his Chatrapati role in this movie. Surekha Vani got a nice role in this movie. Radha Kumari is hilarious in an episode with Ravi Kondala Rao. The comedy involving Ali and Master Bharat is completely irritating.
Technical Departments:
We should appreciate Anand Ranga to letting out the references for this movie right in the beginning. This film is inspired by Erich Segal’s novel ‘Love Story’ which was made into a classic ‘Love Story’ (Jeevi Review). Johnny by Pawan Kalyan is also inspired by the same movie. However, there is no father/son conflict in this movie. We have another film titled ‘Amruta Varshini’ (Telugu dubbed version of Kannada blockbuster Amruthadhare) that speaks about husband fulfilling the wishes of wife before she dies. Films like Bucket List (jeevi review) and Sweet November also sports the similar themes.
The first half of the movie is dedicated for introducing the characteristics of the two main leads and the way they fall in love. The illness of heroine is revealed to hero much before the interval. The entire second half is dedicated to the boy fulfilling the wishes of the girl. The director succeeded in establishing the characters well and knit a proper and sensible love between them. He could deal with sensible humour well. But he fails when it comes to the comedy meant for front benchers (Sunil, Ali and Bharat). Screenplay of the movie is adequate. A film of this type works only if the tragic part of the movie is narrated in a heart-touching way. But you don’t feel for the characters by the time movie ends. Director could have made to genuinely heart touching with a better handling of second half. However, there are three things i liked in this movie
1. The 12th birthday gift (girl’s version and boy’s version)
2. Getting the Pradeep Rawat’s character out of Chatrapati film to continue it in this movie. It is very creative and of Woody Allen style.
3. Radha Kumari and Ravi Kondala Rao’s train episode.
Other Departments: Music by Yuvan Shankar Raja is superb. The picturization of songs is also good. Cinematography by Vijay Chakravarthy is another asset. Locations are very good. The vast geographies of Bihar, Kolkota are Varanasi are explored well. The house set erected in Rushi Valley, Vizag is of class taste. The color grading and postproduction activities are done with proper care. Editing is fine. Dialogues are neat. Production values by Universal Media are grand.
Final Analysis:
First half of the movie is decent. Second half is lengthy and is dragging at times. The climax is predictable and is not heart-touching. The plus points of the movie are Siddharth, music and cinematography. One should have guts to make such a film in Telugu where heroine dies at the end. These kinds of endings carry enormous risk quotient. I wish that the director could’ve made the climax in more effective way. We have to wait and see how it performs at box office.
