Inline is Kalavaramaaye Madilo staring Swathi of Ashta Chamma and Kamal Kamaraju of Avakai Biryani. It will obviously be a low budget romantic flick. According to director Satish (known for his award winning Hope), “It’s a musical love story”. Hindi actor Vikram Gokhale is also part of the cast. Producer Mohan Vadlapatla says, “It will be heart touching film revolving around a singer”.

It will be very interesting to watch a petite Swathi and a tall and handsome Kamal Kamaraju on screen. But while Swathi tasted success in Ashta Chamma, Kamal Kamaraju was unlucky with Avakai Biryani. Let’s see what is in store for us.

Raja is playing the lead in ‘Sontha Ooru’ directed by P Sunil Kumar Reddy and produced by Kishori Basireddy and Ravindrababu under the banner of Sravya Films. Producers say, ‘We are making efforts to release the film by the end of February.’ Raja says, ‘I am eagerly awaiting the release of this film. It is not just because this is my first release this year, but I played a deglamourized character as a physically challenged person. How the audiences would receive me is the basic question. Everyone will have some kind of attachment with their native place. It is a love story related to a village. Director brought out the film at international standards. Kavya’s Dairy getting ready for release

Nandi Award winner Charmi will again be soon in an off-beat film Kavya’s Dairy being produced by Manjula, sister of Mahesh Babu.
As is obvious from the title, The characters in the film revolve around what is written in the dairy. This dairy contains information about a person’s past, present and future.
Events start happening according to the writings in the diary. Even conflicts arise among certain characters because of what is already recorded in the dairy.

Ram Charan-Bhaskar film to start from March 15

Ram Charan Tej’s untitled film to be directed by Bhaskar of Bommarillu fame will start on March 15. This film is being produced by Nagababu under the banner of Anjana Productions.

Ram Charan’s present film Magadheera produced by Allu Arvind under the banner of Geetha Arts and directed by S.S. Rajamouli is nearing completion.

The audio of Magadheera is likely to be released in the first week of March through Supreme Music.
Magadheera is planned for an April release in three languages — Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam.

The Synopsis

Drona (master Sai Krishna) plays with his friends with the revolver of his father (Mukesh Rishi) a committed police officer, who bashes his son for this dangerous game. Drona disappears from the house leaving his mother (Seetha) as a weeping wreck.

Drona (Nitin) comes back to his home after ten years. Though he knows his parents, they do not know him to be their son. He gets friendly with the neighbouring girl (Priyamani) who knows his real identity and the fact that he is now a trained thief.

Later it is revealed that young Drona did not runaway from home but kidnapped by underworld kingpin (Kelly Dorjee) who is in the business of training children to make them thieves.
How the hero deals with the villain forms the rest of the film culminating in a predictable climax.

The Performances

It is high time that Nitin realizes that acting is not within the purview of his skills. Priyamani, a national award winner for acting, has nothing much to do except liberally exposing her female assets. Mukhesh Rishi, Seetha and Dorjee are adequate in their roles. Sunil and Venu Madhav look lackluster.

The Techniques

Too many cooked up incidents give a touch of irrelevance to the narration of the story. The screenplay has its own loopholes and suffers from predictability. The treatment appears to be based on the routine of three fights and six songs, a flashback and a few ridiculous scenes thrown in to fill the gaps.

All the technical departments functioned at below par effectiveness. It will be best for the director to hone his skills better before he ventures to direct his next project.

The Synopsis

Yadagiri (Kota Srinivasa Rao) and Rami Reddy (Jayaprakash ) are goons with vicious rivalry. Reddy kills the son of Yadagiri and the latter vows to kill the former’s son in 16 days.

Gutthi Gurumurthy (Aravind) a migrant to the city gets a job and stays in the house of his relative who has gone underground unable to repay his loans.

Angel (Charmi) a loner, earns a living in the day and stays in the night in any house that have no occupants.
Through a ridiculously conceived coincidence, Angel meets Gurumurthy.
Through another equally idiotic coincidence, Gurumurthy is assigned the job of killing Rami Raddy’s son by Yadagiri.

The rest of the story is easily predictable.

Aravind has talent but his debut film is not worthy of it. Charmi, a Nandi Award winner, is wasted in this film. Kota and Jayaprakash are drab in their stereotyped roles. The less said about the other actors, the better.

The Techniques
This film has an illogical story with ill-conceived characters and illegitimate situations. The only redeeming feature is the

cinematography. No one can narrate a bad story in a good manner.
All the aspiring directors should watch this film to learn how not to make a stupid film.

Mitrudu In April audio in march

The much awaited Balakrishna film has been titled Mitrudu and it is slatted to release in April, the film it is hoped will be a departure from the crap the actor has been doing in films like Okka Magadu, Balakrishna himself showed this optimism when he signed the film.

The film has debutant director Mahadev directing it and going by the fact that he is trained under Rajamouli there would be something to look forward to in the film.

Anushka in Mahesh Babu’s Varudu

The long awaited film of Mahesh Babu, tentatively titled as Varudu, directed by Trivikram Srinivas is finally going on to floors on February 18, but without Parvathi Melton.

Parvathi was announced as the female lead for the film, but the shooting of the film was delayed by almost 6 months. It is reported that Parvathi’s mother met with an accident and she had to go to take care of her mother and so dropped herself from the project.

According to reports, Ileana and Nayantara were contacted and talks are on with Anushka, whose film Arundhathi is breaking all box office records. Anushka is now shooting for Prabhas’ Billa and said to be the most ikely candidate to replace Parvathi Melton in Mahesh Babu’s film.
