SINDHU TOLANI was the surprise element in the NITIN
SINDHU TOLANI seems to be enjoying playing second fiddle (no offense meant). A look at her recent releases will put things in perspective. She was the surprise element in the NITIN starrer Victory and just released Hare Ram in which she played a firebrand journalist. The critics had wasted no time in writing her off after the release of Bathukamma, in which Sindhu played a rustic village belle. With not many good offers coming her way, the pretty actress had to make do with the little that came her way. But it could all change if her next film goes on to be a hit. Sindhu is playing the lead Black and White, being directed by PHANI RAJ. RAJEEV KANAKALA is playing the lead in the film, being produced by RAMESH BABU. Touted to be a murder mystery the film is scheduled to release in August.

Kamal’s ten-roles for Dasavatharam still top the coffee table discussions, Simran is all geared up for her fourteen roles in tube. Simran’s TV debut Simran Thirai, produced by SaiMira and telecast in Jaya TV, will feature Simran in fourteen different roles for the short story titled Navavalli.Navavalli is based on Hindu mythology and Simran plays Amman who is incarnated in many roles. Simran’s roles include, among many others, a florist, snake charmer, astrologer, old woman, auto driver, servant maid, nurse, and a disciple girl. The sitcom is directed by Arvindraj. Poovilangu Mohan, O A K Sundar, Anuradha Krishnamoorthy, and Subbulakshmi also play significant roles.

Nagarjuna Leaving Maa TV due To Chiranjeevi
Nagarjuna who is the chairman of Maa TV is planning to depart it because of Chiranjeevi. Chiranjeevi & Allu Arvind hold a fair amount of share in the investments of Maa Channel. It is fact that Maa TV always elevates Chiranjeevi’s and his Khandhan in all possible ways.
From the past few months it is reported that, the TRP ratings of the channel have come down and the reason is said to be due to the programs which are being made exasperating to the audience taste.
Adding to this, it is a fact that in future if at all Chiru becomes a chief minister, and then Maa TV has to and should be telecasting many programs relating to Chiranjeevi and his works.
So thinking wisely Nagarjuna is planning to come up with his new channel before elections this year. Adding to this it is also gossiped that Nagarjuna is miffed up with the creative head of Maa TV as the programs are not at all clicking for a long run.
Recently, Anushka made her appearance on small screen through “Yuva” which is a serial based on today’s generation. But surprisingly the TRP ratings did not ring as expected and so the program was said to be a flop.
So, by all these facts and conclusions Nagarjuna is thinking to depart Maa TV and is planning to start his own channel.

Even though Ram Charan's debut film Chirutha did not do well , he attracted everyone by his bright performance. After that now he is doing the movie Dheerudu with crazy director S S Rajamouli and it is already known that there is a remix of Chiru's Bangaru Kodipetta .Charan doesnt complete his film , now there are four big directors who said that they are going to direct Charan. They are Lawrence , Bommarillu Bhaskar , Karunakaran and Gharshana's Goutham Menon. But Karunakaran is likely to direct the next movier for Charan but it is not official. We have to wait for the announcement. Charan is proving that he is the real heir of Megastar. All the Best for Charan.

RAJENDRA PRASAD BIRTHDAY
Date of Birth: 19 July 1956, Nimmakuru, Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh, India Gadde Rajendra Prasad known as Rajendra Prasad is a Telugu film actor. He was born in a middle class family from Nimmakuru, Krishna District. He acquired engineering degree from andhra university but preferred a career in acting. After initial hardships in search of a break in the film industry, he got a role in the movie Sneham. During the intitial phase of his career he got petty roles but emerged as very popular comedy actor in the decade of eighties and nineties starting from Ladies Tailor (1985). He is fondly called as King of Comedy by his fans.

'Kathanayakudu'-1200 prints for july 31 release
The very thought of a Real Film Star appearing as a Reel Film Star on screen is mighty thrilling. And when it is Super Star Rajnikanth it would be just perfect in wowing audiences…! This very thought brings the word 'Awesome' doesn't it?
'Kathanayakudu' is definitely going to rock with Rajinikanth' dashing looks and style as he plays a reel-life superstar.
Reportedly, Pyramid Saimira is going to release 'Kathanayakudu' with a starting 1200 prints, on 31st July. The movie is being produced in Telugu by Ashwini Dutt on Vaijayanthi Movies banner. The movie trailer will be out in a few days.
P.Vasu is directing the movie. Rajnikanth paired with Nayanthara plays the star role, while Jagapathi Babu is co-starring Rajini for the first time. Meena and Mamtha Mohandas are appearing in prominent roles.
G.V.Prakashkumar (nephew of A.R.Rehman) has composed the music.
Chiru and Balakrishna Not Sure Yet
Just like there is a 'Big Four' for the Indian cricket team, even our Telugu film industry has its own 'Big Four' which comprises of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Yuva Samrat Akkineni Nagarjuna, Victory Venkatesh and last but not the least Yuva Rathna Balakrishna. These stars have the power in them to make up for any losses faced by the industry with a single hit of their movie.
However, things look a bit confusing as of now since two of them are nowhere in the picture. We are talking about Megastar Chiranjeevi and Balayya. Apparently, Chiru seems to have been caught up with his political train and its arrival but one is not really sure what is happening on Balayya's end.
For now, there is only single confirmed news.
Venky has given his confirmation to take off with his next film which has been titled as 'Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum' with director Krish who is known for his hit film 'Gamyam' , Nag from his end has already got off with his next venture which has been titled as 'King' and is being directed by Srinu Vaitla who is basking the success of his latest release 'Ready'.

450 Shots For Mumaith Khan's Song
Mumaith Khan and hero Sivabalaji recently filmed an item song in Hyderabad for Target. Directed by Ramesh Raja and produced by S. Dasaratha and B. Ramakrishna, Venu Madhav has a pivotal role in Target.
The song ‘Planettunu Deekotte Rockettera Nenu’ choreographed by Prem Rakshit was shot with 450 shots on Mumaith Khan.
Riaz Khan, Kondavalasa, Jeeva, Geetha Singh, Krishna Bhagavan, Saira Banu and others are among the star cast. Music is by Koti. The film will hit screens in the second week of August.
12 crore bunglow for Robot
Robot is a complete techno film which has Superstar Rajinikanth as hero. It is being directed by Shankar and is being produced jointly by Ayingaran International and Eros Multimedia. According to our reporter Bannu, the makers of Robot are all set to buy out a bunglow for 12 crores which will be used for the movie.
Robot movie is supposed to be the costliest movie of Indian cinema which is being made with a proposed budget of 120 crores. The director decided to make this movie over a period of 2 years. He also wanted a huge bunglow for shooting the film which would normally be hired or a set would be erected. But in this case, as the director wanted this house for two years to shoot the movie, the producers decided to buy a bunglow instead of renting it.
The proposed 12 crore bunglow is sistuated on East Coast Road in Chennai. This house will be used as the residence of Superstar Rajnikanth in Robot film.
Ram Gopal Verma to make Gayam 2
Crazy director Ram Gopal Verma is getting ready to make a sequel to his super hit film Gayam which showed family hero Jagapathi Babu as an angry young man for the first time in his career. This movie will be directed by debutant director Praveen who earlier made a short film titled Souls.
The sequel to Gayam movie may or may not have have Jagapathi Babu as the hero because the makers didnt announce any details about the new movie.

Nagarjuna and Lawrence team up again
Hero Nagarjuna and dancer turned choreographer turned director turned music director Raghava Lawrence are going to do yet another movie. This new movie will be the third one after Mass and Don. Lawrence will be directing this new movie and Nagarjuna will be doing the lead role. This new movie will be produced by C Kalyan.
Lawrence started out as a dancer in telugu film industry and then slowly became a choreographer with the encouragement of Nagarjuna and Chiranjeevi. He later turned into a film director and directed Mass movie with the push given by Nagarjuna. He directed Nag for a second time in Don which was not as big a hit as Mass. He even did the music direction for Don movie. Now Nagarjuna is again giving his chance for the third time.
The proposed new and third project in Nag-Lawrence combination will start in December 2008 and will be released in May 2009.

Three music directors for one song
Three big Tollywood music directors are working together for one song. Two music directors are singing this song while one music director is composing music for it.
This rare feat is taking place for one song in Charmi, Srikanth new movie Kausalya Supraja Rama. Music directors Ramana Gokula and MM Srilekha are singing one song in this movie while Koti is composing music for it.
Kausalya Supraja Rama is being directed by Surya Prasad and is being produced by Ramanaidu on Suresh Productions banner. Gowri Munjal plays another heroine in this comedy flick.
The shooting of this film is almost complete except for two songs which will be shot in foreign locations.
Mahesh Babu angry with fans
The fans of Mahesh Babu are going to do blood donation camps, eye donation camps, text books distribution to children, planting of trees, felicitating freedom fighters and also screening Mahesh Babu movies. Mahesh who likes to celebrate his birthday in a very simple and calm way is angry with his fans activities. This is because the media is applying a political colour to these charity activities. Strengths:

Only problem in the story is that it has the shades of tamil flick Manmadhan in which Simbu goes on a killing spree.
Similarities between Hare Ram and Manmadhan:
1. Hero plays dual roles.
3. The younger one kills people in both the movies (It is shown in that way in the first half).
4. In the second half, it is revealed that the eleder one kills everybody in both the flicks.
5. The mentally retarded hero dies in both the movies.
6. The eleder one comes out of the hands of Police using the name of mentally retarded hero in both the movies.
7. Sindhu Tolani is the heroine for the mentally disabled guy in both the movies.
8. Heroine has a killer phobia in both the movies.
9. Both movies has revenge as the back drop.
But the best part of the movie is that both Kalyan Ram and director Harsha Vardhan could make a good story and movie even though it had the shades of Manmadhan film. Its a decent movie with good technical values.
Performances: Nandamuri Kalyan Ram has done the roles of a sincere Police officer and a serial killer. He showed good differece between the two roles. His body language and his mannerisms were good and different for both the roles. He showed his acting talent for the first time in his entire filmy career.
Kota Srinivas Rao and Rajeev Kanakala as usual suited for the villan’s roles.
Brahmanandam, Raghu Babu, Ali and Venu Madhav created the necessary comedy for Hare Ram.
Chandra Mohan, Sita, Chalapathi Rao and Sudha lived up in the roles of hero’s parents.
Music by Mickey J Meyer is very good, mainly the background score. Background score is really good when the serial killer comes into the scene. The music for the songs and their picturization is also good.
Story by Ram Prasad is good. He has mixed action with health mafia. The only problem in the story is that, it has the shades of tamil movie Manmadhan who had Silambarasan playing the lead roles.
Direction by Harsha Vardhan is excellent. He has given the required twists at the requried moment. He maintained the tempo of the movie till the last without losing the grip on the story. Only the climax episode is little big and prolonged.
Story: Ram and Harikrishna (Kalyan Ram) are brothers who get seperated in childhood because of Ram’s mental attitude. Hari Krishna grows up to be an IPS officer and Ram grows up to be a serial killer who kills intelligent people. Anjali (Priyamani) is a CBI officer who arrests Hari Krishna for serial killings. To know who does all the murders and the reason behind the murders, one must see Hare Ram movie.

NTR As Police Officer In VV Vinayak Movie
NTR-VV Vinayak film was launched couple months back and it was heard that the script the film was not ready to go on floors for regular shoot. Now It appears to be everything is finalized and NTR is playing the police officer role in the film.
