Amala Paul bags Ravi Teja’s Next Movie

After considering the names of many heroines such as Nithya Menon, Nayanatara, Parul Yadav et al for the female lead role in the forthcoming film titled ‘Sir Osthara’ casting Ravi Teja in the lead, the makers have finally confirmed Amala Paul for this crazy movie.

Sir Osthara will mark the first combination of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja and talented actress Amala Paul.She plays the role of an NRI girl in Sir Osthara who meets Ravi Teja and ultimately falls in love with him.
To be directed by Parasuram, Sir Osthara will be produced by Ashwini Dutt on the banner of Vyjayanthi Movies.

The film will start rolling its camera from the month of July while the other details of cast and crew of the film are yet to be finalized.

Amala Paul to romance with Allu Sirish?

Recently we reported that Mega producer Allu Aravind’s son Allu Sirish is all set to make his debut with a bilingual (Telugu/Tamil) film Gouravam.Actually Naga Chaitanya was supposed to act in this film but due to some happenings now Naga Chaitanya was replaced by Allu Sirish in this film.Another buzz is that actress Amala Paul will play the female lead role opposite Allu Sirish in this bilingual film.
The film Gouravam will be directed by Radha Krishna of Akashamantha and Gaganam fame and produced by Allu Aravind on Geetha Arts banner.The movie will goes on to the sets shortly.

Daruvu audio launch on April 18

The audio of Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s forthcoming socio-fantasy Daruvu, which recently completed its entire shooting and is presently in post-production phase, will be launched on April 18 in Hyderabad. The film will be released on May 4.

Tamil music director Vijay Anthony has scored the music. Taapsee is the heroine and Siva of Souryam fame is the director. The film is produced by Burugupalli Sivaramakrishna under Sri Venkateswara Entertainments.

Balayya with Bellamkonda once again

No body might have forgot the infamous shooting incident of Balakrishna and Bellamkonda Suresh. Later, the duo had started two movies - Bheeshma and Hara Hara Mahadeva. Both the movies had grand opening events but never went on to sets for some unknown reasons. And now, Bellamkonda Suresh is planning one more movie with Balakrishna. The movie will be directed by Srivas who earlier directed Lakshyam with Gopi Chand and Rama Rama Krishna Krshna with Ram.

The movie opening will take place on 25th May. Srivas had been working on this script for more than an year. Lets see if this movie goes on to sets.

Story

Siva (Prince) is a honest and straight forward youth but is forced to work in a illegal liquor syndicate, which is owned by Bapineedu. Meanwhile, Gayatri (Nanditha) also works there and within a short period the duo falls in love. Their secret love gets leaked and leads to unexpected twists.How does Shiva and Gayatri face the twists forms the crux

Performances

Neku Naku introduces 42 debutants to Tollywood. The lead actor Prince is tall and handsome and has delivered a good performance as a debutant. But his acting reminds us of Mahesh Babu in certain scenes. His dances are good.

Lead lady Nanditha is convincing and she looked glamorous all the film. She pulled off her role with ease and style. Nanditha is talented and impressive.

Jai, Venu are decent and the person who has done Bapineedu role is justifying. Paruchuri Venkateswara is good. Suman Shetty needs a special mention among the cast who provided a good comic relief. Others were adequate.

The basic story line is interesting and the first half is actually not too bad.

Technical Analysis

For the first time, a film has been shot with red epic camera but the cinematography is pretty average. Cinematography is good in places. Yashwanth’s music is good but the background score by Anoop Rubens is below average. Dialogues are rustic and good in places. Editing could have been much better. Teja’s direction is comparatively better than his last releases but the screenplay is highly predictable in the second half. Production Values were okay.

Analysis

Teja has come up with a distinct yet thin storyline of liquor mafia backdrop but the screenplay is highly predictable in the lines of his own films Jayam, Nijam, Avunnana Kadanna. Few of the scenes are too raw with rusty dialogues. The narration and presentation reminds you of the director’s routine and regular films. The first half of the movie totally reminds of Shopping Mall and Mynaa storyline but it was presented in Teja’s style. The climax is another let down and fails to grab your interest. Heroine Nanditha comes as surprise and she will have a bright future in Tollywood and apart from this, the film has hardly countable interesting scenes.

Ram’s new film launch tomorrow

Young and handsome star Ram’s new film will be launched tomorrow. This movie will be directed by Santosh Srinivas, who made the hugely successful ‘Kandireega’ with Ram earlier. This movie will be produced by Bellamkonda Suresh, who was also the producer for ‘Kandireega’.

Despite having the same director and producer, Ram insists that the movie is not a sequel to Kandireega. “It is not Kandireega 2. Its a completely different script..may have a few artists n technicians who worked for our prev film in this,but this is “NOT A SEQUEL! “, tweeted Ram. He will also be simultaneously working for Bommarillu Bhaskar’s movie.

Raviteja’s new film ‘Sir Vastaru’

Energetic hero Raviteja who is currently in shooting for ‘Daruvu’ and in the mean time he signed a film under Parasuram direction.

Film Nagar sources say the film makers have registered ‘Sir Vastaru’ with the film chamber. Film will be going to sets in July. Aswini Dutt is producing the film. There are reports that Nayanatara migh be  romancing Mass Raja in this film.
