ముంబైలో నయనతార-ప్రభుదేవా వివాహం

కోలీవుడ్ ప్రేమ జంట ప్రభుదేవా-నయనతారల వివాహం దేశ వాణిజ్య రాజధాని ముంబైలో జరుగనుంది. ప్రస్తుతం దక్షిణాదిలోని టాప్ హీరోయిన్లలో నయనతార ఒకరుగా చెలామణి అవుతున్నారు. అలాగే, ప్రభుదేవాకు కూడా మంచి క్రేజ్ ఉంది. అదేసమయంలో తన భార్య రమలతకు ప్రభుదేవా విడాకులు ఇచ్చిన విషయం తెల్సిందే. ఇందుకోసం ఆయన పెద్ద పోరాటమే చేయాల్సి వచ్చింది. 

ఇలాంటి పరిస్థితుల్లో నయన-ప్రభుల వివాహం దక్షిణ భారతదేశంలోని ఏ ప్రాంతంలో జరిగినా.. దానికి మీడియా అధిక ప్రాధాన్యత ఇస్తుంది. అందులో ఏ చిన్నపాటి సంఘటన జరిగినా దాన్ని హైలెట్ చేసే అవకాశాలు లేకపోలేదు. ఇలాంటి వివాదాస్పద విషయాలు చోటు చేసుకోకుండా ఉండేందుకు వీలుగా పెళ్లిని మాత్రం ముంబైలో జరుపుకోవాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. 

ప్రస్తుతం అక్షయ్ కుమార్, సోనాక్షీ సిన్హా హీరో హీరోయిన్లుగా "రౌడీ రాథోర్" అనే చిత్రానికి ప్రభుదేవా దర్శకత్వం వహిస్తూ ముంబైలోనే ఉంటున్నారు. దీంతో వివాహం కూడా అక్కడే జరుపుకోవాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు.

Story:
Karthik (Nani) is brought up by his elder brother Balaji who wants him to be educated. Their mother has committed suicide and they are deserted by the father. They hate their father as he is responsible for their mother’s death. The brothers are given shelter by Sekhar a painter. Karthik is friendly with Sekhar’s daughter Revathi (Nitya Menen) and another boy Vishnu whose father is a two-wheeler mechanic.. Jyothi, father of Karthik and Balaji, operates a brothel and has aims to become a don. There is Ammaji, a lady drug peddler and a don in her own right.

Vishnu falls in love with Veena (Bindu Madhavi) who is a prostitute in the custody of Karthik’s father. Vishnu agrees to be a drugs courier as he wants to buy the freedom of Veena with the money. Karthik and Vishnu embark on the delivery of the drugs package when Veena warns them of danger to their lives. Karthik and Vishnu abort their courier mission. And then Vishnu is found murdered and Karthik is arrested for the crime.
Will Karthik come out of the murder rap? What will happen to Revathi? Will Balaji help his brother? What is the role of the father of Karthik and Balaji? Answers to these questions lead to a listless and foggy climax.

Performances:
Nani has performed as if his mind is on an auto-pilot in a role where he is more like a zombie.
Nitya Menen is subdued as is required by her role. Bindi Madhavi does not have sufficient footage to express herself. Karthik Kumar is intense in essaying his role. All others fit the bill.

Analysis: Director Anjana weaves a story that is pretty close to reality and has also created the characters that many can find in the society. The story is more of a crime thriller and the screenplay makes the narration swift. The dialogues are sloppy. Music is ok and is secondary in importance. Cinematography is good and so is the audiography.

Dev's Verdict: Sega is a disappointing experience. The film appears to justify patricide which is ethically unacceptable. There are no entertainment values. It is a sorry tale of a few shoddy characters in society. The film is realistic, but of what use it is when it makes the viewers depressed?

Mohan Babu with Sunil

Comedian turned hero Sunil becomes busy hero in Tollywood with handful of projects. Sunil has signed a film titled Subramanyam for Sale under the direction of Harish Shankar, another film under the direction of Veerabhadra of Ahanna Pellanta (Allari Naresh’s film) fame. He is also acting in the remake of Bollywood’s hit film "Tanu weds Manu" in Telugu, which is going to be directed by Devi Prasad.
Now the latest news is that actor Mohan Babu is planning to produce a film with Sunil and he will also act in that film. As per the sources Mohan Babu and Sunil will be acting together as Mama Allullu. Another buzz is that Rayudu Gaariki Kopamocchindi is the title under consideration for the film.
Writers Kona Venkat and Gopi Mohan are writing the script for this film. Mohanbabu’s daughter Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna will handle the production and the film will be directed by E Nivas.

Three choreographers for one song to Jr NTR

Most of them know that Young tiger Jr NTR’s dance style and he is also good in dancing. He always tries to come up with different steps for his songs in the film. Now the latest news is that three top choreographers of the South Indian film industry are working with Jr NTR for a song of his latest film tentatively titled ’Oosaravelli’. As per the sources the song is a mixture of classical, western and remixes beats, which was composed by music director Devisri Prasad. But the choreographer’s names were not revealed.
The steps and song are in practice stage as of now and the song would be shot very soon. As per the sources Jr NTR himself has conceptualized this song. Initially, he was planned for an Indo Western style but later insisted on adding a remix track of a yesteryear super hit song to the number.
Thamanna is playing the female lead role in the film. The film is being directed by Surendar Reddy and produced by B.V.S.N. Prasad under the Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra banner.
