Raviteja’s Nippu launched

Mass Maharaja Raviteja’s new project Nippu was launched on today (May 28th, 2011) at Ramanaidu studios in Hyderabad. Earlier we informed that producer YVS Chowdary wants to launch the movie on the of Sr NTR’s birthday, which is on May 28th.Sensational director Rajamouli was clapped the board for Muhurat shot on Raviteja, while another director VV Vinayak was switched on the camera and YVS Chowdary directed the first scene.
Directors V V Vinayak,S S Rajamouli,Vamshi Paidipally,Krish, BVS Ravi, Nandini Reddy, producers Allu Aravind, BVSN Prasad, hero Sai Dhrmatej and many others were attended as guests for the movie launch event.  
The film is being directed by Guna Sekhar and YVS Chowdary is producing it on Bommarillu Movies banner. Akula Siva has written the dialogues. Sarvesh Murari is the cinematographer and Anand Sai is the art director.
The regular shooting of the film will starts soon and movie is expected to release in 2012 on the eve of Sankranthi festival

Review

Story

A flashback tale, the story begins with the robbing of an ATM and drifts into the lives of three friends. Chandu (Krishnudu) whose only goal in life is to take care of his mom and give her the best, Kranthi (Ajay) who believes in reforming the society by becoming a journalist, Michael (Ranadheer) who believes in luxury lifestyle and doesn’t mind doing crooked things.

Years pass by and each of them get into jobs with their own problems. While Chandu gets a decent job, he is still worried since his mom’s condition deteriorates. Michael is busy duping people for money and his goal is to go to Singapore. Kranthi runs a charity home along with a software job, on the other hand, his team leader Snigdha (Tashu) is in love with him but he doesn’t reciprocate despite having feelings.

The story takes a turn with the clash of ideologies setting in and above that, a need for money. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Artists Performance:

Krishnudu comes up with a decent act. However, the milder he behaves the appealing he becomes. It is better he avoids dancing and other physical acts.

Ajay has a strong screen presence and intensity in his performance. He will shine if given proper roles with ample screen time.

Ranadheer was spontaneous and does his bit as required.

Tashu Kaushik is the sole visual delight. She struck a balance with glamour and performance to add value to the film.

Tanikella was elegant, Subbaraju was brief, Posani was little quiet, Rajeev Kanakala was neat, it was good to see Sathya Krishna back on screen, Harshavardhan was not used to the fullest. The others didn’t have much to offer.

Final Analysis:

In order to become a director, it is essential that he must have command over the 60 scenes.

Also, it is important that he must be aware of the pulse of the audience and the ability to structure the scenes in such a way that they get connected. However, all that was missing here and it left a fluctuating effect.

While it is felt that the director had a noble intention to convey a good message, the lack of proper grip on the screenplay and weak conviction in critical scenes exposes the poor side of the film.

So, by merely thinking that what he has conceived will work onscreen without awareness of the external factors will result in a wonderful flop. Something like that is expected to happen in this case as well.

Starring : Aadhi, Sindhu Menon and others… When director Shankar chooses to produce films, he ensures that there is some strong point in the stories. Probably that is how movies like 23va Raju Pulakesi, Premisthe took shape. Same is the case with <>Vaishali, which has a strong underlying social, though the entire feel of the film has a subtle texture of horror to it. What’s it about : Vaishali (Sindhu Menon) is found murdered, drowned in a bathroom tub, in her plush apartment building. Vaishali’s case is handed to a disciplined cop, Vasu (Pradeep / Aadi). As Vasu investigates, it seems, that she had committed suicide, apparently guilty of her extra marital affairs with another guy. However, Vasu, who was also Vaishali’s ex-boyfriend, before her marriage, knows that Vaishali cannot be such kind of a woman, and wonders if hers was a murder. He also finds that neither Vaishali’s husband, who was out of town that day, nor her neighbors seem to have anything to do with it. In a twist of events, few neighbors in the apartment buildings too begin to get murdered, one by one, in extremely strange circumstances. With animosity from Vaishali’s father, help from her sister Divya (Saranya Mohan), and with his own sense of guilt haunting him, Vasu gets too involved in the case. As a result he begins to have premonition on the next murders, and tries his level best to stop few. However, he discovers that the series is of murders is now carried out by Vaishali herself! Why is Vaishali’s ghost after her neighbors, how does Vasu find evidence that it is Vaishali who is committing the crimes, and who actually killed her is what makes this film interesting What is Good : Sindhu Menon is an amazing actress, who can express a wide gamut of emotions with very few movements. She lives Vaishali’s character to the T, both in her joyous and torturous moments. Aadi gets a very carefully and neatly etched character; and he does an impeccable job as a cop who is caught between reason and belief. He has come a long from his debut Oka V Chitram, and surely knows his limitations. Saranya Mohan, as Vaishali’s sister is cute. She might have not been able to perform upto the level in a few ‘interesting scenes’, but she doesn’t at least spoil them. Nanda, who plays Vaishali’s husband, has good screen presence. The other characters too do their parts well, and all the actors are supported equally well by the screenplay, cinematography and visual effects of the movie.  What is bad: Once is revealed to be the revenge of the ghost kind of a film, the screenplay had a chance to make things more interesting, at a faster rate. However, the director takes his time, and laboriously explains quite a few things to his audiences before he finds a ‘medium’ to get to the flashback. While even the flashback is too slow, it doesn’t get any better towards the climax, ending like any other typical horror movie– without logic. However, the director comes up with few scary situations to ensure that he keeps the energy flowing through the second half of the movie.   Technical Departments : The first thing that you will notice in Vaishali is Manoj Paramahamsa’s cinematography. The work is so good, that the camera almost becomes a silent narrator in the film. The camera movements are slow, and the overall texture of the movie is quite serious, maintained well with decent work from Thaman and the sound department. Screenplay too is intelligent, in the first half, and tries hard to stay like that in the second half too, but without much success. What’s appreciable about the screenplay is that, it takes ordinary day-to-day happenings (which might have impressed director Shankar) to drive its point. The Tamil version was titled Eeram, meaning wetness and the director ensures that there is some liquid in every scene possible. That says a lot about the kind of efforts director Arivazhagan had put in for the film.  Editing plays a very crucial part in revealing the story, and is especially appreciable in the scary scenes. The visual effects team, along with the art director, creates some very believable graphics too. There are few songs in the movie, all in the background, and obviously they have been shot well. Bottomline : At its length, Vaishali is sometimes painful to sit through, but you will definitely enjoy its visuals and it has got few moments to savor.

Premakavali completes 100 days in 23 centres

Dialogue King Sai Kumar’s son Aadi was debuted in Tollywood with the film "Premakavali". The movie has been completed 100 days successfully in 23 centres in Andhra Pradesh. New girl Isha Chawla paired with Aadi in Prema Kavali.
The movie has directed by K Vijayabhaskar and produced by K. Achi Reddy on Max India Productions banner while R.R.Moviemakers presents it. Anoop Rubens scored the music.
Now the latest news is that the film makers are celebrating the movie 100 day function on June 6th at Shilpakalavedika in Hyderabad. Many top personalities from film industry are going to attend the movie 100 days function.
While speaking to media producer Achhi Reddy said that "Though the movie was released in wrong time, despite exams, world cup and IPL, the film did good business without debut sheet. He thanked all the audience for making it such a big success of my first film on Max India banner.

Allari Naresh in Lakshmi Prasanna's 'Gundello Godavari

Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna’s dream project Gundello Godavari has started its pre-production works and is gearing up to start its shooting shortly. Raja, a debutant who is an associate to Krishna Vamsi is marking his entry in Tollywood with this film.

The latest reports say Allari Naresh has accepted to play a vital role in the film. Lakshmi Prasanna is busy in finalizing the cast and crew of the film and she is said to have narrated a role to Naresh for which the latter have given his nod. The producer turned actress will be seen as a village girl in the film. Maestro Ilayaraja has been roped in to score the music for the film. Gundello Godavari is being made under the banner Lakshmi Prasanna Pictures.

Naga Chaitanya and Kajal Agarwal starrer upcoming untitled film shooting is going on at Annapurna Studio in Hyderbad presently, there the film unit canning the song on lead pair. Recently the movie has been completed the shooting schedules in the exiting locales in Bangkok, Thailand and Philippines.
This action entertainer movie is being directed by a new debutanat Ajay Bhuyan, and being produced by D Siva Prasad Reddy under Kamakshi Kala Movies banner.Music is scoring by S Thaman. Cinematography by Gnana Shekar, dialogues by Abburi Ravi.
The first look of the film and the 10 seconds teaser will be revealed by the film makers by the end of this month. The movie title also will be announced shortly.

Ravi Teja, YVS Chowdary and Gunashekar's 'Nippu' To Start From May 28th

After films like Mirapakay and Veera, Ravi Teja is gearing up for his next film titled as Nippu. Gunashekar is going to direct the film and it's his first film with Ravi Teja. YVS Chowdary's daughters Yalamanchi Yuktha and Yalamanchu Ekta are going to produce the film on Bommarillu banner.

The movie will be launched on May 28th, incidentall May 28th is the Jayanthi of Late Sri NT Rama Rao of who YVS Chowdary is a great admirer. Both YVS and Gunashekar are undergoing rough patches in their career hope this project bestow fortune on them.
