టాలీవుడ్ ప్రిన్స్ మహేశ్ బాబు, జాతీయ ఉత్తమనటుడు విక్రమ్ హీరోలుగా మెగా డైరెక్టర్ మణిరత్నం దర్శకత్వంలో సన్ పిక్చర్స్ ఓ భారీ బడ్జెట్ చిత్రాన్ని నిర్మించేందుకు సన్నాహాలు చేస్తోంది. రజినీకాంత్ రోబో చిత్రం బడ్జెట్ రూ. 160 కోట్లకు మించిన బడ్జెట్ తో ఈ చిత్రాన్ని తెరకెక్కించనున్నట్లు సమాచారం. కాగా ఈ చిత్రం 150 ఏళ్ల క్రితం రాజరాజ చోళుని పాలనా, అప్పటి పరిస్థితులను ఆధారంగా చేసుకుని మణిరత్నం రూపొందించనున్నారన్న వార్తలు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి. చారిత్రాత్మక కథ నేపధ్యాన్ని తీసుకున్నప్పటికీ కథలో చిన్నచిన్న మార్పులు చేసి ప్రస్తుత సాంకేతి పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని వినియోగించి చిత్రాన్ని భారీగా నిర్మించాలని సన్ పిక్చర్స్ అధినేతి కళానిధి మారన్ అనుకుంటున్నట్లు సమాచారం.

Balakrishna PVC final schedule hydeabad

Balakrishna’s ‘Paramaveera Chakra’ has completed its schedule on Friday in Kulu. The next schedule will be in Hyderabad from November 8th to 25th with which the talkie part will be completed.



Three songs were already been picturised and the remaining 3 songs are to be canned in Egypt, Kenya and Judah. Ameesha Patel, Sheela and Neha Dhupia are the leading ladies opposite Balakrishna.




This is Darasi Narayana Rao’s 150th directorial venture and is produced by C Kalyan. Music is composed by Mani Sharma. The film is expected to release for Sankranti 2011 and the music by December end.

Review

Story

Set on the backdrop of Venkatapuram in the Godavari district, Veera Babu (Siddarth) is the darling son of Sitaram Prasad (Rajendra Prasad). He is a complete brat and causes trouble in the village along with his group of friends (Prasad, Venu and others). He chances upon Varalakshmi (Pranitha), whose father (Ahuti Prasad) is a man of high status and talks to only such people. However, love blossoms between Veera Babu and Varalakshmi as they go a long way back. On the other hand, Sitaram Prasad has got a strong link with Varalakshmi’s family but stays away from them. What is that link? Does Veera Babu succeed in his love story? All this forms the rest of the story. Telugu Movie Reviews

Artists Performance:


Siddarth does his best to infuse life into his character and as usual, he is lively and expressive wherever required. His attempt to speak in the coastal slang must be appreciated. However, he got quite dramatic and artificial in the climax.

Rajendra Prasad was mild. His character was not etched properly and in a way, he was not used to his fullest caliber. He excelled in a bit of mono action in the fields in first half.

Pranitha looks homely and at the same time has enough sex appeal. She has shown ease and confidence in front of the camera. That way, she has scored in glamour and performance departments. Her intro scene with ‘Ringa Ringa..’ song is entertaining.

Ahuti Prasad was regular, Tanikella was neat, Samrat was handsome and did a good job, Brahmi and Ali comedy track took off well but fizzled out, Raghu Babu was brief, Prasad, Venu and gang gave many smiles, Kasi Viswanath, Bharath and others were there to fill the screen. The actress who did the role of Siddarth’s mom was decent, Sindhu Tolani was a misfit.



Final Analysis:

The film takes off at a very good level and the entire first half goes breezily with comedy and entertainment. However, things go completely down during the second half and with each passing scene, audience’s patience is tested.

The film suffers due to lack of depth during the emotional scenes and for some reason, the last twenty minutes went completely haywire and director lost track of what he wants to do. It was rather different to see audience clapping and whistling at some of the tragedy and emotional sequences which goes to show how the film got dragged and bored the viewer.

The storyline is quite routine and one has seen the routine twists before. On the bright side, the technical aspects are good. Cinematography was top notch. Background score was good, two songs were melodious, dialogues were well written, screenplay was okay. Editing was most needed during the second half to cut the drag scenes and melodrama. Locations were eye catching.



Overall, the openings for the film will be good due to the Siddarth factor and old loyal fans of Rajendra Prasad but then it is very hard for the film to get into the profit zone at the box office due to the squabbled second half.

Nagarjuna’s ‘Gaganam’ Releases in Nov

Nagarjuna’s upcoming film ‘Gaganam’ is going to hit the screens only in the 3rd week or end of Nov.The producer of the film Dil Raju earlier said that the film will be releasing on Nov 5th as Diwali gift but made a sudden change in the release date.


If he is making a release right away he needs to face competition from the big films like Robo, Brindavanam and ‘Rakta Charitra’ in which one movie is his own production.

Nagarjuna is playing the role of a commando in this film. Nag considered as a romantic hero in Tollywood doesn’t have heroine in this film, which sounds very interesting.

The film is releasing in both Telugu and Tamil. The Telugu version is produced by Dil Raju in Telugu and Tamil version by Prakash Raj. The film is directed by ‘Aakasamantha’ fame Radha Mohan.

NTR’s new film is scheduled for muhurath on Nov 17th.Milky Beauty Tamannah is playing female lead in the movie However, the title of the film is not yet confirmed officially.
The film is going for shoot under the direction of Surender Reddy.
Surender Reddy and NTR combo is for the second time as both of them worked earlier for the film Ashok.Though the film was an average hit at the box office but the film is appreciated for its technical values. Venkatesh’s ‘Nagavalli’ on Dec 2nd

Venkatesh ‘Nagavalli’ or Chandramukhi -2 will be released on Dec 2nd. The film was actually planned to release in November but it took a step back and made a change in the release date.The Logo launch of the film will take place on Oct 30th in Araku and audio launch will be on Nov 10th.




The movie is expected to have several computer graphics and special effects. The film is the remake of Kannada super hit Aptha Rakshaka.and follow-up of Chandramukhi. ‘Nagavalli’ has a lengthy list of heroines- Anushka, Richa Gangopadhyay, Kamilini Mukherjee and Sraddha Das are playing the lead roles.

1st Half:

Awesome Opening Scenes.

Taxi song is the 1st song, Song is pretty good with nice dance moments. As of now movie is good.

2nd song Boom Boom shaka laka

Dialogues are top notch, comedy is good in parts.

Pileche Song is the third song.

Routine story until now but chemistry between hero and heroine is good with a lot of funny scenes.

Most of the movie shoot in Rajasthan.

Interval Bang is Extra ordinary. The interval block covers up the entire first half.

1st Half Report:

Mahesh is extraordinary on the screen, Fresh and handsome. Opening scenes and comedy are good in the first half. Fights are clean. 15 minutes before the interval block is huge asset for the film. First half is above average. If second half is better than the first half, the movie can surely become a blockbuster.

2nd half started.

Sada Siva is the next song. Excellent song, picturisation is on par with the music.

Scenes are good in parts.

Sunday Monday song.

Movie is little slow in the 2nd half.

Editing is not crisp.

Makathika is the last song.

Climax is good.

Final Report:

Its Mahesh's One man show movie with good comedy. The movie is very good in parts but a slow second half will have effect on the movie. Overall the movie can be an above average grosser in Mahesh's career as per preview talk. Lets wait until tomorrow for the final talk and review of Khaleja.

సినిమా హిట్ అయితే, ఆ చిత్రంలో ఉపయోగించిన వస్తువులకు కూడా భారీగా విలువ వస్తుంది. తాజాగా టాలీవుడ్ బ్లాక్‌బస్టర్ సింహా చిత్రంలో యువరత్న బాలకృష్ణ ఉపయోగించిన గొడ్డలి కూడా ఇలాంటి క్రేజే వచ్చింది. ఈ గొడ్డలికి వేలంపాట నిర్వహించగా బాలకృష్ణ అభిమానులు వెంకట్ గరికపాటి, జితేందర్ రూ. 5 లక్షలకు సొంతం చేసుకున్నారు. సింహా చిత్రంలోని వస్తువులను వేలంవేసి కళాకారులను ఆదుకుంటామని బాలకృష్ణ తెలిపారు. వేలంపాట ద్వారా వచ్చిన ఆదాయాన్ని వృద్ధ కళాకారులకు వినియోగించనున్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు. చిత్ర పరిశ్రమలో తీవ్ర ఇబ్బందులు ఎదుర్కొంటున్న కళాకారులకు అవకాశం దొరికినపుడల్లా తనవంతు సాయం చేస్తానని యువరత్న చెప్పారు.
